My self-summary
Open minded, logical, full of random knowledge, my favorite book is the Atlas, listening to the Beach Boys in the winter, impossible to offend.

I'm Louisiana born and bred but after college I left home to see what else there is to offer. From there I moved to Alaska, Colorado, Thailand, and Yosemite. I was happy in all those spots but needed something else. And Portland had what I was looking for as most of my friends I've made through the years are either from here or moved here from my hometown. The nice thing about having all my Cajun friends up here is when we get together and cook.

I had been blessed over the past several years with a job that supplied me with plenty of vacation time. So I get to travel around quite a bit and I get to discover what the NW has. Been here a few years and it's quite impressive.
What I’m doing with my life
Finding new ways to experience new stories that I don't even believe after it happens.
I’m really good at
cooking and emergency situations
The first things people usually notice about me
Dimples and blue eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I graduated with a degree in history and since then it's hard for me to read non-fiction. Some favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Christopher Moore, Neil Strauss, Chuck Palanuik, Irvine Welsh, Chuck Klosterman.

Movies, too many to mention. I'll give anything a chance. Probably my favorite over the past 5 years is Southland Tales, and I really enjoy David Lynch movies too. Killer Clowns from Outer Space isn't bad either.

Shows, I've kinda lost grip on what's a good show to watch nowadays. If anything I hear enough from friends, then two years later I watch it on Netflix.

Music. That's too big of a topic.

Food. Yes I'm hungry. Vegetables sound great. Fruit is delicious, I'll take some grains too. Meat is nice too just keep out the fatty parts unless we're talking about cracklins.
Six things I could never do without
There's a lot we can do without, I'll title this section as things I like to have around when I would like them.

a pillow
I've got no idea for a sixth one, maybe a towel, they come in handy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why cactus doesn't grow in wet climates. World Geography, What happened to Emilio Estaves, local politics, going to Africa and having a friendly encounter with a hippo, and the logistics of being a 3rd base coach in baseball.
On a typical Friday night I am
My work schedule is very diverse so Friday nights can either be a lot of fun or comforting.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I unknowingly supported a government coup in Thailand because they fed me tangerines and beer. I really didn't know what I was doing.
The two of us
