My self-summary
Deeply narcissistic, exaggerated sense of self-importance and stunningly shallow. (I know: I had you at "Hello.")
Kidding aside, people who should know say I'm quick-witted and funny, upbeat, enthusiastic, warm, family-oriented, attentive to those I care about, genuine and unpretentious. I try hard to be a good friend (& am blessed with many longtime friends), a good listener and a good communicator.
Believe how we treat others--banker or busboy--is paramount. Find pleasure in many things, both simple and not so simple. Healthy and high-energy. Walk and/or run every day. Also work out, hike, ski, bike, do the steps at the beach....and think about getting back to tennis.
My interests range from books, business, travel, exercise and good food, to the financial markets, movies, the arts, politics and photography. Enjoy my work but have no problem with leisure time. Love to laugh and have an enormous capacity for silliness and fun.
Hiked Cinque Terre and last year Machu Picchu. Paris, Santa Barbara, Aspen, the south of France and Tuscany among my favorite places.
I live on the Westside.
I’m really good at
Being a friend.
Making people laugh.
What I do professionally.
Being happy....having fun.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile, sense of humor and high energy.

Beyond this, probably the entourage and bodyguards.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Just saw Kevin Kline in his Tony-winning role in "Present Laughter" on Broadway & liked it a lot.
Some books I've enjoyed recently: "A Gentleman in Moscow," by Amor Towles, and "4321," by Paul Auster.
Among other authors I like: Richard Russo, Pete Dexter, Jo Nesbo, Joyce Carol Oates, Elizabeth Strout.

The usual existential issues.
You should message me if
Meeting you would not require that I acquire a restraining order.
