My self-summary
(Last updated when I was 24, very cringe)

I am an aspiring rationalist and a lover of knowledge. I'm happiest when I'm in a deep conversation with other intellectuals, or watching a cute movie with a girl snuggled up to me, or trouncing people in Smash Bros or DDR. I believe that love is a powerful emotion that should be milked for all it's worth.
What I’m doing with my life
I plan on retiring early through investment in rental properties and using the time to study more and work a bunch of jobs for the fun and experience. I plan on living forever through radical life extension, or cryonics if need be. I'm saving up money to buy my second house, and playing video games in the meantime.

I understand the metrics by which people evaluate each other's worth, and reject most of them on a personal level. I might want to raise a kid someday, but not for certain, and not anytime soon.
I’m really good at
I'm an all-around excellent gamer and fast learner, and can reach a high level of playing skill in any game in a relatively short time, though I do not have tournament-level skill in any game in particular. I'm very good at explaining new concepts to people, and giving situational advice rather than overly generic advice. I can spot cognitive biases and logical fallacies both in myself and others, and know when to and when not to identify them out loud. I also have an uncanny ability to get people to open up to me, and I also tend to draw people into hours-long discussions about deep topics.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am very introverted and hardly ever begin a conversation. I also tend not to leave the house without a pressing reason. This does mean that I generally have an open and flexible schedule.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have a simple palate of mostly meat, fish, and rice, my favorite music genres are techno/trance, rock, and vocal mashups. I do not watch TV or follow any long-running TV shows except Atheist Experience and QI.

I have a number of fandoms that I keep tabs on. These include Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts Homestuck, My Little Pony, Sonic, Smash Bros, Phoenix Wright, Haruhi Suzumiya, and Studio Ghibli. I usually get through a 13-episode anime once or twice a month.

When I encounter a complex series like Kingdom Hearts or Homestuck, I tend to research every facet of it. I find such stories fascinating.

Some of my favorite videos come from Speed Demos Archive and TASVideos. I hold all the speedrun records for a Genesis title called Crusader of Centy. I am currently unlocking every cutscene in FFXI Online in order to record a Youtube playlist.
Six things I could never do without
These are some of my role models.
* Eliezer Yudkowsky
* Aubrey de Grey
* Twilight Sparkle
* Great Teacher Onizuka
* Phoenix Wright
* Ginko (Mushishi)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Epistemology and rationality, cute things, mythology or trivia related to my interests, TVTropes, and what job I should try to do next.

I spend a great deal of time listening to atheism and philosophy podcasts, and arguing with theists online. It's a good way for me to vent my frustration with irrational thinking in the world, so I don't have to take it out on my friends. Sometimes I manage to explain the secular viewpoint in such a way that my debate partner concedes to its sensibility, but I never expect people to change their minds overnight.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home playing FFXI, discussing philosophy with roommates, playing Call of Duty with roommates, or all three at once.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not in-your-face about it, but I am unashamedly happy when I watch My Little Pony, and I greatly enjoy reading MLP fanfiction.
You should message me if
The more boring you are, the better. I want a nerdy girl who might go to an anime con if their favorite voice actor was there. I like people who are like me.

Unlike most men I am not terribly interested in sex. What I can offer you is a warm cuddlebuddy, a video game partner, an intellectual friend, some furniture-moving muscle, and a shoulder to cry on. I expect the same from a partner. I am also open to polyamory, whereby if one of us feels that our romantic or sexual needs are not being fulfilled, it is acceptable to seek out additional partners to fill those needs.

My love languages (the things I appreciate most) are physical touch and words of affirmation. What I am best at offering is quality time and acts of service (I am very loyal and selfless when it comes to people I care about). I see gifting as a waste of money.
