My self-summary
Hello. Welcome and thanks for spending part of your life with me. I know you have a lot of choices in internet sites in general and dating prospects in particular, and I'm glad you chose me. I hope not to disappoint.

I'm a pretty laid back guy with a wide range of interests. I'm not really much of a partier or bar-fly, but I value my friends and enjoy spending time with them, wherever we are. I have two rescued beagles that mean a lot to me, but not much in the way of other family.

Fair warning, I am a geek but I try not to let it get in the way of social interaction. I'm always looking to improve. There's some things I do well, some I don't and some at which I'm abysmal.

I'm looking for that someone who is my best friend, always has my back and "gets" me. Of course, it goes both ways.
What I’m doing with my life
My professional life is starting to line up the way I want it. I'd just love to have someone to share it with.
I’m really good at
Procrastinating, listening, helping and figuring out the details.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height and my quirky sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love movies and will see almost anything, but I'm a devoted credit-watcher. My favorite genres are scifi, action and suspense. I don't read a lot right now, but I like classics, Shakespeare, and fiction. I don't get a lot of time for TV, but I dvr comedies like How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory, dramas like NCIS, and scifi. I'm not too picky about food and will try about anything at least once. My music tastes run the gamut and I can find things I like and/or respect in every style, but my favorites are 80s pop and hair metal and alternative.
Six things I could never do without
Humans are adaptable. If you start seeing something as indispensable, it's time to re-evaluate it. Of course, there's plenty of things I'd miss if they were suddenly gone: My beagles, motorcycle, Xbox, job, intimacy, summer (really all seasons).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Who I am, why I'm here and what's to come.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either hanging out with friends or relaxing at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've often wondered if our landfills will be rich deposits of resources for a future civilization.
You should message me if
the mood strikes you. I'm not going to bite. Probably.
The two of us
