My self-summary
I have a hard time talking about myself, the best way to really get to know me is talking to me, however I will do my best to tell you about myself. I am 5'8" about 200lbs, I enjoy being out in the world or staying in and watching a movie. I tend to always look serious but don't let that fool you, I love life and try to enjoy every minute of it. I have short black hair and rotate between a trimmed beard and a goatee. I have dark brown eyes.

I was in the US Army from 2000 to 2004. I got to meet some great people and it helped me get out of my shell. I used to be pretty shy around people. This is not the case anymore. When I go out I am outgoing and fun to be around.

I am recently finished a pure mathematics masters at Michigan Tech. I am not originally from this area though. I do not get a large amount of free time, but when I do, I like to go out and see what there is to see and meet people along the way. I also enjoy staying in and watching a movie with someone to snuggle up with, it really depends on my mood and how cooped up I feel at the time.

I would really like to meet someone who is not too crazy, but not afraid to get a little wild every once and a while. Someone who enjoys life and goes out and lives.

I am smart, fun, and good natured
What I’m doing with my life
I have my Bachelors of science with a Computer Science and Mathematics double major. I just graduated from MTU. I love going to school and my goal is to be a professor eventually. It is all little intimidating to me but I have goals and dreams and I am chasing after them.
I’m really good at
Learning new things. I like doing stuff related to Math and computers, playing video games (although I don't find much time for them any more).
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes most likely. I am told they are a deep brown that draws people in. Also I am told I am a funny guy. I like a little humor to break the ice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This is such a hard part to fill out since I love watching movies and reading books so much. I really like fantasy both in books and movies especially if it is epic. I also enjoy Science Fiction.

Some of my favorite movies are The Shawshank Redemption, The Princess Bride, The Pirates films, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Hackers, the Halloween series (both old and new), and so many more I could not list them all.

My favorite authors are Neal Stephenson who covers many sci-fi and fantasy genres and Neil Gaiman, who wrote Sandman, American Gods, The Graveyard Book, and many other great stories. Other favorite authors include Jeff Noon, George R. R. Martin, Robert Jordan, and R. A. Salvatore. As for my favorite novel I would have to say it is Snowcrash by Neal Stephenson. I have read this book more times then I care to count. Another favorite is Vurt by Jeff Noon. It is book about feathers, lost loves, and aliens definitely worth a read.

When it comes to music I'm all over the place. I really like The Who, STYX, Journey, and then stuff like Nirvana, Green Day, Collective Soul, Soul Coughing and other alternative music as well. I really like to many types of music to try to list successfully. I don't care for Jazz and elevator music, but otherwise chances are good I like at least a few artists of most types of music.
Six things I could never do without
A book to read, My Laptop, Internet, A friend to talk to, Something to learn, vital organs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life and what I should do and how I can accomplish it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, likely at a bar, seeing a movie in theaters, or studying.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Secrets are not called secrets because you are supposed to tell them to people.
You should message me if
You are interested in knowing what I am really like. If you have read all this and thought I would not mind getting to know this person a little better, then I suggest you do. Here is to hearing from you.
