My self-summary
As the name suggests, I'm part yellow and part brown. In the right quantities I can look golden.

Moved to Portland a few years back, and am loving it here!!

Have recently decided it's time to go and meet people, make new friends and see who's out there...

INFP-A if that matters.

More spiritual than religious,
More calm and collected than wild and crazy.
More for speaking little but saying lots,
Than to speak volumes but say little.

Although I still tend to talk a lot and say even more. Which can easily work against me, as I recently and painfully learned. I sometimes go full speed ahead, I am relearning lessons I thought I knew by heart. Working out the kinks in my armor and putting myself back together better than before. And learning when best to hit the breaks.

I look way younger than I am, at this point getting carded is practically a compliment. As a friend said, "child-like, not childish".. Gotta play the part though right? Hah!

I try to keep the proverbial glass half full.

I've begun to say the phrase "kids these days" more and more with age. Soon "back in my day" will worm its way into my speech patterns... I just know it will...I've already acquired the knee slap.

One of my favorite quotes (at the moment)-
"You can't have both feet on the ground and kick ass at the same time."
What I’m doing with my life
creating depth, fooling the eye, enjoying, rolling with the punches while I figure out how to get where I want to be.
I’m really good at
Catching spiderwebs with my face while riding my bike around town, geeking out, skipping breakfast, cooking rice. (With no rice cooker), dodging suicidal emo-squirrels.

Losing my train of...

Inspiring creative thought, being intuitive. Spontaneity. Putting two and two together.

Oh, and making mouth watering grilled cheese variations.
The first things people usually notice about me
I honestly don't know, could be how I sometimes make no sound while walking, my long eyelashes or my unshaven yet almost hairless legs...

Six things I could never do without
Apart from the obvious things, music to listen to, my paint, pepperoni pizza, rice, coffee, and sourdough.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what to paint, what to eat, and what to do when what I fear may happen, happens.
On a typical Friday night I am
*shrugs* depends. My "weekends" are offset.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know the secret ancient technique of steaming rice, no matter what the amount, works perfectly every time. Kettle or rice cooker, no matter.
You should message me if
you want to. :D
