My self-summary
I'm fascinated by the world in general and the vast array of experience and knowledge within it! Some what disappointed that we only get one chance at it, would love to be able to live life as a (insert gender) (insert profession) living in (insert country).

An optimist with a sarcastic bent. A liberal with the associated interests in the isms, vegetarianism, feminism, secularism, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
At the age of 28 I've finally figured out what career I want to pursue, so in September I'll start studying Adult Nursing at UWE. In the mean time I'm a nursing assistant dealing with all sorts of characters and bodily fluids. It is strange how quickly you become desensitised, although I tend to wake up in a panic as I'm sure I can hear a call bell coming from some where.

I also really want to visit some what bizarre sites around the world. Pripyat for example, an empty city close to the site of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in the Ukraine that is slowly being taken over by nature. Eerily at the time the fair was in town leaving a ferris wheel still in the center.

Also I would love to travel to see the Hessdalen lights in Normay. A Bizarre atmospheric phenomenon within a valley, cue the X-files theme tune.
I’m really good at
I'm really into running and I'm currently building up my base running distance, 35km a week at the moment, with the aim of getting to 70km a week over the next year. With the eventual goal of running the Lochness Marathon.
The first things people usually notice about me
Bald guy?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've been mainly reading Science Fiction and can't quite get over Iain M Bank's Culture series. Other authors that I enjoy include: H.P. Lovecraft, Arthur C. Clarke, Boris Strugatsky, Ray Bradbury, Kafka, Kurt Vonnegut, Ursula LeGuin, and Margaret Atwood.

Colombo! I think I would rather have him on the case then Sherlock Holmes. More lists: Game of Thrones, Hannibal, Fargo, The Wire, Star Trek, Dexter, Lillyhammer, Fringe, Cowboy Bebop, Firefly, X-Files etc

I like quite a wide variety of music but mostly a focus on rock and folk. I've recently been listening to Of Montreal, The Builders and the Butchers, and Queens of the Stone Age.

And just because I want to mention them I absolutely love Charlie Brooker, Adam Curtis, and Jon Ronson!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why must the cat sleep in the centre of the bed and why moving a cat can become such an ethical dilemma.
On a typical Friday night I am
Work most likely considering the rota as of late -_-
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sometimes pretend I'm a spaceship when I run.
You should message me if
I'm looking for someone to share new experiences, challenges me, or simply hanging on on a Sunday night. I want to do some exploring, mostly abandoned sites!

I have a bike for the first time in 10 years! Take me some where cool!

Also if you knit I need a teacher! I dream of the day I can produce knitted animals, mostly cats.
