My self-summary
I'm energetic, idealistic, kind, compassionate, and I enjoy laughing and making others laugh. I love deep stimulating conversations and exploring/discussing a variety of unconventional topics, be they philosophical, political, social, or spiritual in nature (though I'm not "religious").

I enjoy dancing and social gatherings - from film festivals to political conferences to dinner and dance parties. But just as much as I can serve as a party catalyst, I am as easily comfortable chilling for the night...and just being in the moment, whether alone, with friends, or a date.

I love film, music, nature, reading, writing and asking big questions and seeking big answers...and constantly questioning the "accepted Matrix".

I don't take life too seriously (certainly not the small stuff), and never let the great challenges of the planet, or my life specifically, take away from all the joy and beauty we are offered while alive, here and now. The world is simply a better place the more love, compassion and happiness there is in it. So its a win win :)
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a writer, media relations and communications specialist on a myriad of social, economic, and environmental justice issues – including climate change and energy, public health, food security and safety, consumer rights, privacy and civil liberties, criminal justice, and war and peace.

My desire to effect positive change in the world and shift the current paradigm is a driving force in my life - which is to say I'm very happy with what I do and the reasons I do it.

More generally, I see life as an ever expanding opportunity to evolve consciously, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually while becoming a better, wiser, and more enlightened human being in the process (and have a whole lot of fun while doing it!).
I’m really good at
Writing/communicating/teaching, making people think, question, and care about things they might otherwise not have, inspire, make people laugh and have a good time, seeing the big picture, connecting dots that others all too often miss, dancing, playing certain sports, and learning life's lessons....
The first things people usually notice about me
My passion to better the world, energy, intelligence and humor (I would say anyway) :)

Six things I could never do without
Music, passion, family, friends, justice, the earth/environment..
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to positively shift the current dying paradigm, how to evolve as a human being, the meaning of life and our connection to the universe, women (being with them physically and learning from them...as they are the yin to our yang), justice in all its forms, spirituality, subjects of a "paranormal nature", ethics/philosophy/morals, and how great art, speech, and writing can so move me, among others.
On a typical Friday night I am
Often with friends, either dancing, renting movies/ordering out food, or having cocktails/dinner party, just chilling on my own (reading, writing, or just watching the best stuff I can find on television or video), or perhaps going to some kind of event - usually political, artistic, or social movement related.
