My self-summary
Hi, Im John.

I've recently moved down to christchurch, hoping to meet some new people to get myself settled into the area, perhaps you could help with that?

A little more about myself is im rather fond of reading and enjoy expanding my knowledge in all subjects, useful or pointless trivia. I have several tattoos and plan to get at least one more and nothing that can't be easily covered up. I'm very fond of travelling and I seem to have inherited a bit of my ancestors wanderlust.

Music wise, you couldn't find someone with a greater range of taste in music, I'll listen to anything that has a good beat and a catchy tune, if it happens to have a particularly nice masterclass of a guitar solo I'll like it even more.

What I’m doing with my life
So I've done a few things with my life since I first wrote this. I've gone and started a Bachelor in Social Work after successfully completing a very interesting Certificate. I'm absolutely stoked =)
I’m really good at
I've always been pretty good at the arts, english and history were/are some of my favourite subjects at school and I really enjoyed the hell out of them at school. I've also got a thing for technology and it doesn't take much for me to just click onto how things work
The first things people usually notice about me
I would say my accent, I constantly get people asking me where it's from. For the record I was born and raised in New Zealand yet apparently I have a noticeable scottish accent.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Sweet and sour pork is awesome.

Books are pretty much whatever takes my fancy although I do tend to go for non-fiction books as a personal preference. I've been reading Richard Dawkins "The God Delusion" lately which has proven to be an enlightening experience.

Movies I pretty much follow the same as above with whatever looks remotely interesting, Kung Pow: Enter the Fist is probably one of my favourite films.
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order

Computers
Books
Family
Entertainment
Sleep
Oxygen
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I can't say any one subject has particularly dwelt on my mind lately
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I stole all your ducks.
You should message me if
Your interested in someone with a keen sense of humor, razor wit and a huge capacity for pain.
