My self-summary
First and foremost I'm a city kind of guy. I like restaurants, museums, arcades, bookstores, coffee shops, etc. Exploring a city, finding different things to do and see is my idea of a great day. I grew up in Orlando FL and have always just been more comfortable surrounded by concrete and circuitry. It's not that I'm against nature. I like to camp and hike and go to parks and what not but at the end of the day I'm just a happier guy with pavement under my feet.

I'm a nerd. Maybe that sounds played out or cliche but that's my culture. I've always been big into reading and still am. I've a a respectable home library and a very large digital one. Most if not all of my shirts that I wear on a daily basis come from woot.com or goodie two sleeves. I like dragons and video games, comics, cartoons, new gadgets, magic the gathering, board games, pretty much anything you would expect from your average run of the mill nerdy guy.

I like to exercise and eat right...well mostly right. I do plan my weekly dinners and lunches and stick to a diet plan during the weekdays but on the weekends I kind of just do whatever I want. I don't go overboard and see if I can eat 4 pizzas in one sitting but I will have pizza or a burger and beer or really whatever I want. I tie that together with the gym. I try to go 5 times a week but the weeks I can't I will make it at least 4. I don't spend all my time at the gym but I'm also not going to sit on a machine and play on Facebook.

I'm a fall/winter kind of guy. Never been a huge fan of the summer and the heat. It's probably a byproduct of living in mostly tropical environments until I moved to Oklahoma. I love the smell of the air the fall brings. The changing of the leaves, the shift of the sun, just the whole energy of the world changes when the fall begins to hit. Even though I know it's the time when things are preparing to slow down for nature, to me it's more like the world is coming alive. Plus who doesn't love Halloween?
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a Metrologist. Indeed it’s Metrologist and not Meteorologist. Wikipedia has a decent article on Metrology.
I’m really good at
Making odd comments. Remembering random facts. Testing life. Testing your patience.
The first things people usually notice about me
Easily my tattoos, no point in acting like I don't have them. I've also been told my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite author is R.A. Salvatore. I also adore Gaiman, Lovecraft , Goodkind, Brooks and a bunch of others.

Horror movies, even cheesy ones.... especially the cheesy ones. Everything else is a toss up.

Clue, Hot Fuzz, Nightmare on Elm Street, Airplane, In Bruges, Mirror Mask, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Clifford, Equilibrium, Event Horizon, Sucker Punch, Hackers, Death Proof, Willow, The Rundown, The Dark Crystal, Sleepy Hollow

Whatever music works for me that day is what I go with.

The Birthday Massacre, System of a Down, Matt and Kim, Crystal Castles, Korn, Justice, HorrorPops, Owl City, Misfits, Floggin Molly, The Dollyrots, The Black Keys, Daft Punk.

I usually try to make the healthier choice with food, but it's not like I'm gonna skip a burger. I'm not really a health nut but I am somewhat careful with what I eat. I'll never be able to beat the grip energy drinks have on me, and I don't want to.
The six things I could never do without
My mind.
Sense of humor.
Kindle
Spaghetti.
Cat memes.
Amazon.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What's for dinner. What I have to get done before bed. What my sister is up to in Florida.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm normally pretty destroyed from 5 days of work and 4 days of gym time so I'm just crashed out reading or watching something on Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can totally trust all you anonymous internet types right? Okay then....I like musicals, pretty much all of them. Repo, The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeny Todd, West Side Story, Little Shop of Horrors. Let's just keeps this to ourselves.
You should message me if
You're looking to add a "Happy Nerd" to your collection of Hummel figurines. Or, you're a cool go with the flow type of person that thinks we'd get along well enough.
