My self-summary
I'm an upbeat, imaginative, open-minded gentleman looking to meet wonderful woman in this wide and wild world. I won't go into my full story here, as you probably wouldn't want to read all of it at the moment, though should you ask, I will happily tell you. Long story short, it's been an interesting life, and I'd say I've learned how to see the best of an imperfect situation.

Disclaimer: yes, I technically live in Philly. No, I don't live in center city. I'm right near St. Jo's. For real, I'm basically in the main line.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from Kutztown University with my bachelors degree in clinical/counseling psychology, and just graduated from La Salle's professional clinical counseling psychology masters program. I am currently working as an outpatient therapist with a highly varied population of many age ranges and presenting issues, and it's wuite the adventure post-grad. Aside from that, I spend my days improving my mind and body through my adventures, conversations, cooking and other hobbies.
I’m really good at
Making people smile. It's kinda my daily objective to brighten as many peoples' day as I can. Aside from that, I'm a heck of a cook with a love for trying new foods, a spirited writer, an interested conversationalist (there is nothing I love more than a good chat), an avid cosplayer, and a lifelong explorer of the human mind.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair, my style of dress, my scent (I have a deep love for fragrances and actually design my own. Looking for a new perfume to wear? Talk to me; I may be able to help you find what you're looking for), the confident manner in which I stride, and oddly enough, my hands (apparently I have nice hands?)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: too many manga to mention (especially One Piece and Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku), The Psychopath Next Door, Evil Genes, and just about anything on the subject of psychology, especially abnormal psychology. Also as of late I've been reading a lot of martial arts texts, with The Tao of Gung Fu by Bruce Lee being at the top of that list. Also, if you have any good cookbooks to recommend I would be eternally grateful. Ooh, and interesting psychology/counseling texts and anything on mindfulness are totally my jam.

Movies: comedy and action in general. My three favorite movies are Austin Powers, The Hebrew Hammer, and Undercover Brother (yes, I'm aware.... they're kinda sorta the same exact movie, but that's probably why I like them). And as of recently, I've been blown away by Zootopia.

Shows: a lot of anime, of which I'm kinda all over the place about (currently obsessed with Food Wars and the new Danganronpa) so if you're interested don't hesitate to mention and we can discuss the matter. Beyond that, I love comedy, especially South Park, Family Guy, Futurama, King of the Hill, Archer, Rick and Morty, and Bob's Burgers.

Music: my musical taste is all over the place. My main criterion for good music is that it's upbeat, energetic, and not depressing. I listen to just about everything, though I have a strong preference toward rock and metal (especially folk metal). My favorite bands are ACDC, Korpiklaani, Alestorm, Queen, and Styx. Currently exploring the genres of EDM and jazz, so if you have any recommendations in either of these areas please let me know!

Food: I love food. I mean, really, it's all I eat. I eat pretty much everything except for a few select ingredients. I'm huge into any sort of Asian cuisine, especially Indian, Thai, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, with Japanese being a particular favorite. I have a special love for authentic Japanese food, and I'd say it's the only thing in the world that I'm actually something of a snob/elitist about. My favorite foods are curry (which I cook myself, and I consider myself quite good at), popcorn, and buffalo wings. However, I love trying new foods.
Six things I could never do without
-delicious food
-good cologne
-solid ground
-deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, the universe, everything, 42. Primarily my life as a whole, where I'm going, how things interact with each other and whatnot. How to make American culture more collectivist as opposed to individualist. As a psychology major I love to pick peoples brains (figuratively, of course) and try to understand motivations and various reasons why people do what they do. Also food. Lots of food.
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time with good friends doing any variety of all different things. Sometimes it's going out to eat, sometimes it's staying in and cooking a nice meal while palling around and watching movies, sometimes it's just loafing about. No matter what it is, I enjoy surrounding myself with the people I enjoy spending time with.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm no locked diary; all you need to do is reach out and turn the page.
You should message me if
You maybe want to check out an awesome restaurant that you haven't seen before, go thrift shopping, learn to design your own perfume, or just chat about psychology, fragrances, video games, anime, cosplay, cooking and other fun stuff like that.

Also if you know the proper response to the phrase "SONO CHI NO SADAMEEEEEEEE"
