My self-summary
By default I'm generally serious yet flexible, prefer being indoors with creature comforts and casual games, and like the simple things in life. I'm a jeans and artistic t-shirt kind of guy who likes cats and birds (especially owls) and likes to go for short strolls. Peppermint and milk chocolate are my two biggest weaknesses.
What I’m doing with my life
In my free time I like to play video games, watch cartoons/anime, read a book, or go out for walks around the neighborhood. In fact, as I write this I'm sitting on a picnic blanket from the Reading Rainbow kickstarter in the shade of a tree in a nearby small park. It's the little things in life that I want to enjoy.

To counteract my otherwise sedentary life I've also been going to the gym every other day for some casual exercise. I'm still very new and unsure about a lot of things but I've kept up with it for over six months now so it seems to be sticking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Time to name drop and see if anything resonates? Here goes: Honor Harrington, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Kiki's Delivery Service, Ratatouille, Food Wars, Gate, Log Horizon, Independence Day, Sister Act, Weekend, Just a question of love.

My main interests are in hopeful futuristic themes and 'family'-oriented stories.
You should message me if
You like going on little adventures and excursions, like walking through a new area, checking out a new restaurant, Saturday/Sunday brunch, or spending a few hours near the water, and then ensconcing at a cafe, park, or home with a book, game, or computer. The more involved but less frequent excursions like kayaking, a morning hike, or a road trip to a rustic restaurant in a small town outside the city would also be a fun adventure. If this sounds like an ideal interaction then we should talk.
