My self-summary
This speech is my recital, I think it's very vital
To rock a rhyme, that's right on time It's Tricky is the title, here we go...

I've been on OkC before having my identity together. It used to be a wonderful playground for anybody who's fascinated with what constructs the thing we call "personality".
Times have changed. OKcupid has changed, the quizzes are gone and most of the beautiful queers and geeks left with them. I'm still not comfortable having my face up there for all fingers to swipe, Neither left nor right.

I lately updated my status from "open relationship" to "single". True Story. I'm not looking for a new relationship yet, but please don't ask me "So what ARE you looking for??" Whatever it is, I'll help myself finding it. Thank you.

And yes, I do meet people in person sometimes, some great times, even.

Also, to be fair, I am not in Granada anymore, but since it's my second home and I'm always on my way back, I kept my location set there, in order not to only be seen by and shown Israeli profiles.

Maybe I should let go, but I'm too fascinated with this algorithm and the power of data, and there are still some sexy beasts and drunk poets and quick-witted goofballs around here and I'm having so much fun finding out who I am by exploring who they are. The least I can do is partake in this project. Even if it means being swiped.
What I’m doing with my life
Changing the subject when asked this question, look! mulberries!
I’m really good at
I can tell the story of Goldilocks and the three bears in 5 languages. I do a pretty good Chris Rock impersonation of Michael Jackson. Teaching you how to open a beer bottle with pretty much anything. Shazaming songs before shazam does.
The first things people usually notice about me
My dog, the cat following us, that I'm probably holding a plastic bag with a fresh load of poop in it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
"... L'umanità, per propria natura, tende a darsi una spiegazione del mondo, nel quale è nata. E questa è la sua distinzione dalle altre specie. Ogni individuo, pure il meno intelligente e l'infimo dei paria, fino da bambino si dà una qualche spiegazione del mondo. E in quella si adatta a vivere. E senza di quella, cadrebbe nella pazzia. ..."
[Elsa Morante "La Storia"]

“...fatos são pedras duras. Não há como fugir. Fatos são palavras ditas pelo mundo.”
[Clarice Lispector "A Hora da Estrela"]

"...My body wanted to come but it's a bit busy at the moment. Things to do, people to see. You know how it is with bodies."
[Douglas Adams "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"]

David Bowie, Seu Jorge, and the space between them. Jacques Brel. Cibelle. Tim Buckley to Jeff Buckley and back. Hip Hop, From Grandmaster Flash to RtJ3 and counting. It's the only genere that cannot grow old. Bonnie 'prince' Billy who was born old, Paul Simon for times of love and beauty and there's a soft spot saved for Alex Turner when I'm being a mardy bum.

Some favorite movie quotes for slow scrollers:

"...jusqu’ici tout va bien, jusqu’ici tout va bien, jusqu’ici tout va bien. Mais l'important n’est pas la chute, c’est l’atterrissage."

"Simon and Garfunkel is poetry!
- Yes it's poetry. It's poetry of drugs and promiscuous sex. Honey, they're on pot."

"You had a tall knock.
-I'm short for my height"

"Care for some gopher?"

"Son of a bitch I'm sick of these dolphins"
Six things I could never do without
A mountain, Sunlight, the touch of cold water running against my skin, running water for that matter, Olive oil, my dog. (Sorry cat, I love you but I know you'd trade me for running water anytime)

Oh. And first kisses. Sadly enough, one can only give them once.
I spend a lot of time thinking about

-why am I still awake?

-where am I?
On a typical Friday night I am
Seriously now, Where am I?
