My self-summary
Currently living in the Austin area. (10/06/16)

I'm a gamer, a geek and a nerd. And yes there's a difference. Ask me about it sometime. I fit a lot of stereotypes in those categories; shy, socially awkward in large groups, love learning new things most consider dorky, friends and family come to me for tech support, spend more time preparing for the zombie apocalypse than in the gym, etc.

Also I despise sexism, racism, gay-bashing, and other such douchebaggery. Do not let that scare you though, I love a good discussion.

-I try to find the humor in all things.
-I have a hard time throwing away useless containers because, well I guess I'm weird like that.
-I used to love ThinkGeek.com, it's gone downhill
-I am a feminist.
-I don't drink alcohol often, but when I do I prefer Guinness.
-I have a few tattoos I would like to get.
-But I'll typically upgrade my PC if I have that kind of money
-I sometimes say meow instead of now. (enough that auto-correct hates me, personally)-_-
-I have more Skyrim/Fallout characters than I have outfit combinations in my wardrobe
-I probably shouldn't mention things like the above statement...
-I love learning new things but kind of hate learning history, even if it's new to me.
-Spiders are terrifying!
-Mice are cute!
-I like the idea of vegetarianism but,
-I love a good cheeseburger/steak/beef jerky.
-Fact: sausage>bacon 8)
-Diabetes (type 2) makes all the food talk hurt...
-Food shows are like porn for me

As an ever evolving person new things will be added and some things may disappear but hopefully the idea of me is in that stuff somewhere.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an amateur game designer, programmer, modder and youtuber. I spend way too much time playing games instead of making them but I have a lot of fun either way.
I’m really good at
I'm a great listener and shoulder to cry on. Occasionally I can offer words of "wisdom". I'm a decent chef and I'm really good at making people laugh or making them uncomfortable with my random humor.
The first things people usually notice about me
My ability to be awesome, or maybe it's the glasses. I like to think they are connected.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
In order to keep this section relatively short I'm limiting 3 per category.

Movies: Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Brick, The Dark Knight, The Big Lebowski, Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Matrix (well now I'm breaking rules), Django: Unchained

Books: John Does at the End, This Book is Covered in Spiders, A Modest Proposal

TV: Firefly, Futurama, anything by Aaron Sorkin

Video Games: Fallout series, Skyrim, Minecraft

Tabletop Games: D&D, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Scrabble

Music: My taste in music changes often and is too broad to list a relevant answer.

Podcasts: RT Podcast, Alway Open, Acquisition Inc.

Cigar Brands: Foundry, Drew Estate, Gurkha

All encompassing: things with zombies and most post apocalyptic settings.
Six things I could never do without
Great friends
Something to do
A beard
A brain
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever I'm thinking about I'm probably overthinking it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends, gaming.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Also I overuse the ellipsis.

I tend to be a bit of an introvert so it can take some work to break me out of my cozy little shell, but if you don't mind spending the time and effort to do so it'll be worth it.

I've never truly dated before for many reasons (feel free to ask if you're curious) so I'm not very good at this. Sorry, but not really. I am who I am, hopefully someone out there doesn't mind.
You should message me if
...you want to know more. I'm an open book for the most part.
