My self-summary
well now.
i never could (and probably never will) come up with a self-description that wouldn't make me think "meh/lame/prolix/wtf/whatever" to some extent after re-reading it, so i'll just put some more-or-less-random informations in this box and "leave the rest" to the other sections, the questions, and (most importantly) your curiosity.

i was born in germany and grew up in italy with a french citizenship.

i'm a sex-positive feminist. i'm for gender deconstruction and equality in every aspect of life, so if you are currently searching for some sort of prince charming you can stop reading here.

also, i don't do monogamous relationships anymore. i support polyamory and any other kind of ethical non-monogamy.
What I’m doing with my life
probably unconsciously trying to become the new dude, but without all that bowling and white russian.
I’m really good at
missing deadlines.
being awkward.
rampant use of subordinate clauses.
not giving a fuck.
rational thinking and judgement.
failing at being tactful.
giving a fuck.
defying stereotypes.
reading bus numbers from great distance.
The first things people usually notice about me
from november to april, the short pants and/or short-sleeved t-shirt i'm wearing.

that i'm a "de facto straight edge" despite my appearence would seem to hint otherwise.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
depeche mode, covenant, heimataerde, dernière volonté, franco battiato, einstürzende neubauten, front 242, nitzer ebb, new order, the cure, nephew, stromkern, bluvertigo, i cani
+ lots of others (a few of which you can spot on my t-shirts)

in love with everything by xavier dolan, claudio caligari. also the big lebowski (and coen brothers in general), this must be the place, essential killing, american beauty, the boat that rocked, top secret!, blazing saddles, la vie d'adèle, memento, the departed, drive, outrage, il demonio, the intruder, das leben der anderen, ovosodo, tre uomini e una gamba.

i usually prefer non-fiction when it comes to books, but the writing styles of eco, benni, pennac and hornby have always amazed me.
i also like manga, a lot.

i only recently started to appreciate shows that are not anime. some favourites include fargo, hannibal, stranger things, VGHS, haben wir noch pepps?, boris, bojack horseman, tengen toppa gurren lagann, code geass, ga-rei zero, excel saga.
(menzione d'onore televisiva per blob + fuori orario, all hail enrico ghezzi)
Six things I could never do without
-music & concerts
-stormy days (at least once in a while)
-camo/black clothes (especially band t-shirts)
-public transport
I spend a lot of time thinking about
monogamy, non-monogamy, friendship, empathy, how people manage their relationships.
languages: their characteristics, similarities and differences.
ethics in everyday life.
how awesome it would be if life had fitting background music when needed.
why i didn't go to sleep earlier.
corsica's linguistic, political and cultural situation.
On a typical Friday night I am
i don't really have that "yay weekend, let's get crazy" mindset.
most common things i do when i'm not staying at home (which is the majority of cases) are usually going out or staying at someone's place with friends engaging in nerdy activities of some sort, usually board or video games.

i enjoy social situations but i naturally tend towards couchpotatization.
You should message me if
you are a feminist, or more generically one who's against and doesn't conform to gender roles/habits.

you agree that dave gahan should have remained only a singer.

something along the lines of exploring an old coastal fortified tower and the surrounding cliffs at night with a group of friends to watch the sunrise on the sea from there, then on the way back at 5 a.m. stopping to quickly steal milk and a carton of croissants just left by the supplier at the entrance of a café and eating them togheter for breakfast on a lake dock (*breathe-in*) might ever sound like an appealing/funny experience to you.

you think litfiba effectively ceased existing after 1989.

you have opinions about things, are not afraid to share them, and nonetheless you can respect and accept other people's ideas/ways of living/interests without judging them negatively just because they don't conform to your value system. some exceptions may apply (e.g. fascists, sexists, racists and the like can be mocked at will)
