My self-summary
Hi, I'm Nadav

Mini bio: Born a Jerusalemite, my earliest memories are actually from London, then ✈ Israel ✈ high school in Cleveland, Ohio ✈ Israel ever since. Been living in Tel Aviv for a decade. I like it here. Except for August 🌋

I work for an early stage cybersecurity startup.
What I’m doing with my life
I used to write here "I'm taking the year off!" :-)

After a year of part-time work (i.e. taking the year off), I joined a startup.

Since I'm fully employed again, I party less and work more.
I work out at the gym, go to Swing class twice a week (would be super cool if you're into that too!), and occasionally organize nights out with the gang.
I’m really good at
Proper use of the em-dash—it's great!
The first things people usually notice about me
People tell me I have a deep radiophonic voice.
Face to face -- I dunno, my chin dimple maybe?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: My all-time favorite books are Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny and A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula Le Guin. More recently the 'Silo' series by Hugh Howey. Suspension of disbelief is a general requirement.

Shows: I watch lots of stuff, but the shows I liked best were usually British sitcoms and comedy dramas: Green Wing, Coupling, Teachers, The IT Crowd. I don't enjoy reality shows.

Music: I have my favorites (e.g. Belly, Nicole Blackman, Golden Palominos) but I'm not a regular listener. I'm open to new suggestions :)

Movies: Off the top of my head -- Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Shaun of the Dead, Fight Club, some films by Woody Allen. I also like good plays and musicals. I really enjoyed Wicked and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What pet I should get, someday, maybe. Main contenders: a dog, or a pair of Sphynx cats (scary looking but very friendly).

You might just end up living with it, so if you have a preference, I say: vote early, vote often :-)

Also, some things in the world that need fixing and what can be done about it.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can't whistle. I think it's genetic.
You should message me if
I live in a nice roof apartment, but there's no elevator.
Message me if you can cope with a 77 stair climb ;-)
