My self-summary
Hi I'm Alex and I like laughing and smiling but have no idea how to smile for pictures

Just graduated with a degree in Psych and like to think myself quirky and relaxed :)
I'm somewhere between Marshall Erikson and Chandler Bing

Grew up in DC, then I was at BC, now I'm back!
What I’m doing with my life
Work at the Campaign For Tobacco Free Kids in their Latin America division, as well as doing part-time work with the University of Maryland School of Public Health.

I sing, play guitar and piano, and starting with music recording and producing.

Also was in an improv comedy group, play soccer and played baseball and ran cross country in high school. New challenge is learning hockey and how to skate. You'll occasionally find me tearing up kickball leagues or a bar afterward.

I'm also a moderator on here. I have no idea how that happened. You see some weird stuff, believe me.
I’m really good at
Puns
Making bffs with animals
Shower singing
Eating (challenge accepted)
Rocket League
Knowing too much about Pokemon or tv shows listed below
Kickball (but actually)
Listening
Microsoft office (thanks, desk jobs😒
Leaving tv shows halfway through the season, later forgetting where I was and starting over
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my eyes, they change colors all the time.

You'll have to find out for yourself though!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite author is Carl Hiaasen and own most of his stuff. Was a huge fan of Terry Pratchet and Pendragon as a kid. Eoin Colfer too. Besides that, lame stuff like the Scarlet Letter and The Great Gatsby I suppose. Big fan of poetry though, especially the rightly loved Robert Frost, and the forever under-appreciated Shel Silverstein.
Currently reading: "The rest of us just live here" by Patrick Ness

Shows: Archer, How I met your Mother, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Big Bang Theory, Friends, Louie, Futurama, Bojack Horseman, Family Guy,
Spongebob, Family Feud, American Dad

Music- My taste is ecclectic and varied. I'll listen to pretty much anything, but on my Spotify you'll see rock varying from adult alternative to pop rock to indie to punk to hard rock. Or if I'm in the mood there's plenty of edm and house in there too.

Movies: I have to give some love to The Room- for all the wrong reasons.

Video Games: Rocket League is my jelly, and Pokemon is my peanut butter. Huge smash bros fan. Also grinding the hell out of the Borderlands series. I recently picked up Overwatch so feel free to hit me up for fun and or give me pointers (I play Ana mostly). Uncharted, the Last of Us, infamous etc. I have a pretty big PS3 stack I have to burn through still.
Steam: Blagpag
PS3: Blagpag
PS4: Blagpag (need to get PS Plus)
3ds: 4012-6891-0617 (remember to give your code too so I can add you back)
The six things I could never do without
Friends, internet, beds, Sports, Music, Pokemon.

I mean that's just a cruel existence without them
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why politicians aren't forced to wear jackets with all the sponsors of pacs and lobbyists they're involved with (think like a nascar jacket)

-why an Indian cinema buff/nerd doesn't make something about Ashwarya Rai(chu)
-Equality,
- why the media even bothers interviewing athletes mid event
-how anyone could support Trump
-why nobody picked Bulbasaur
-if people read this far on profiles...

The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma *spills milk*
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm equally as likely to be out at a party or a rager as I am to be chilling with friends/roommates in sweats and pajama pants. Both sound great pretty much whenever!
You should message me if
You're up for Pokemon Go adventures

You have puns

If you're the Lily to my Marshall, the Monica to my Chandler, or the Leela to my Fry

If you can talk shop about DC sports

You want to have a lively give and take on the overcentralization of Stealth Rock in the Pokemon competitive metagame

You don't want any games, (the shitty, awkward, bad communication, type of games) but want the good kind of games (communication, adventure, being open and comfortable, understanding and all that jazz)
