My self-summary
I like things that produce happiness or reduce unhappiness. I dislike things that do the reverse.

Shocking, I realize.

I have done many things with my life. I've held various jobs. I've climbed things, ridden things, run around things. I've traveled and lived various places, on farms, and in cities, and places in between.

Honestly, at this point I'd like to start a family. That's my bucket list.

Eventually. Not today. Relax.
What I’m doing with my life
I spend my days doing work that I find meaningful and important. I create opportunities for people new to technology through mentorship.

I hope, over time, to grow this project. But, in the worst case I make work and career more rewarding for a handful of people.
I’m really good at
Solving problems by taking a step back and looking at them in a different way. Knowing what's recyclable and what's not. Retaining valueless knowledge. Setting long term goals and slowly working toward them one day at a time.
The first things people usually notice about me
If I'm alone, I'm walking very quickly. If I'm with my elderly dog, I'm walking very slowly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy most anything that surprises me, teaches me something, or gives me a new perspective on something I thought I understood.
Six things I could never do without
A good pen.
My dog.
Some form of puzzle.
Earl Grey tea.
A good, sharp kitchen knife.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How the hell can a person go to work in the morning, come home in the evening, and have nothing to say?
On a typical Friday night I am
Having a drink with friends, at the symphony (I miss MTT) or ballet (I know ballet is less cool than opera these days, but I prefer it), or staying in and catching up on any number of things. I don't generally stay out terribly late any more; I find I feel overall better and happier when I get up early than when I stay out late. I'm not a morning person, so I have a hard time doing both.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I prefer the Bonnie Raitt cover.
You should message me if
You're psychic, and know that we'd make a good couple. Or, if you're not, and would like to find out.
The two of us
