My self-summary
Music education major and wannabe Andy Dwyer.

I'm new to NYC and just want to know where I should go for breakfast food.
What I’m doing with my life
Buying a loft, starting a noise band. Getting six or seven roommates, eating hummus with them, booking some gigs, burning down an Applebee's, painting, listening to Animal Collective. Starting some type of salsa company.

Until all that happens though I'm going to school for music education, so eventually I'll be directing school choirs and teaching little people how to play the recorder.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't really read as much as I used to but I'll always have a soft spot for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books (although I'll never really accept the sixth book as being anything more than a glorified fan fiction).

I listen to a lot of indie rock. Two Door Cinema Club, The Wombats, Alex G, Foals, Porches, Beck, The xx, Vampire Weekend, The Drums, Bicycle Club, Passion Pit, Gorillaz, Elvis Depressedly, Little Green Cars, Phoenix

For TV I usually stick to offbeat comedies. Arrested Development, Scrubs, Futurama, The IT Crowd, Parks & Recreation, Archer, Wilfred, The Twilight Zone, Rick & Morty, The Eric Andre Show and anything involving Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim (I have very little shame).
The six things I could never do without
Coffee, tea, memes, a shower, my ever expanding arsenal of music equipment that I probably only need half of, and breakfast food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why someone thought it was ok to give a series like "JJ The Jet Plane" the OK to be made.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I thought "lingerie" was pronounced "linger-ee" until a year ago.
You should message me if
You're a musician, you've got a dank meme you want to show me or you just want to shoot the breeze and talk Nintendo 64.
