My self-summary
I have been described as a funny/sarcastic/knowledgeable person with a tendency to make very corny jokes. I'm also introverted, but just because I'm not saying anything at the moment doesn't mean I'm not always thinking about something. When asked for my opinion, I'm typically not scared to share it. I always try to lighten the mood in a bad situation when possible. In my spare time I enjoy drawing/sketching, photography, movies, video games, and attempting to work out. I have a Master's in English and I currently work in the technology field. I also enjoy traveling, I've been all over the South and a bit on the East Coast but I haven't really ventured farther west than Texas yet. I also went to Spain, and that was a great experience and I hope to travel the world more at some point soon. After I graduate I would like to travel the country or the world and see new things, but I need money and/or a traveling buddy.
What I’m doing with my life
Working a lot, procrastinating, Reddit, finding new ways to procrastinate, thinking of things to write about, writing about the things I thought of, telling bad jokes, and wasting time with friends. I would like to start doing more photography, drawing, fishing, etc. soon but I just haven't had the time lately. I also like going to nerd conventions and dressing up in cosplay.
I’m really good at
Making corny and terrible jokes, dancing badly, interpreting how people really feel about something, making people laugh, drawing, having internal monologues, making the best out of bad situations, killing a conversation, and other things that I can't think of at the moment. I am pretty much a boss at "That's what she said" jokes, as my amigos in Spain can attest to.
The first things people usually notice about me
My super sexy beard. And people tend to notice my sense of humor quickly, and tend to enjoy it. Also that I have mad/bad dance skillz. Sometimes I'm in cosplay so that's pretty noticeable too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite book series of all time is the Lord of the Rings series and the A Song of Ice and Fire series. I also double plus good 1984.

Movies: So many movies... Marvel Cinematic Universe (The Avengers and all those), Cloud Atlas, Departed, No Country For Old Men, Godfather I and II, All of the Star Wars movies (yes, even the prequels... deal with it), Star Trek, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, The Matrix Trilogy, District 9, Apocalypse Now, Spaceballs, Anchorman, Monty Python, Evil Dead I, II, Army of Darkness and the remake of Evil Dead, Platoon, Jaws, The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, many others.
My current favorite movie is Guardians of the Galaxy.

Shows: Breaking Bad, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, Smallville, Game of Thrones, Star Trek TV series, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Once Upon a Time (don't judge me), Fringe, House of Cards, The Flash, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Orphan Black, Stranger Things, Better Call Saul, Supernatural, South Park, SNL, Conan, etc.

Music: I enjoy movie/video game sound tracks, Daft Punk, classical music, rock, parody music, etc. I mostly listen to the classic rock/modern rock stations while in the car but I don't really own much music anymore.

Food: Meat. Vegetables. Fruits. Primarily meat. Guinness.

Video Games: Not sure why this isn't listed, but I am a fan of many video games. At the moment I am mostly a fan of RPGs, I am adept at FPS but they have kind of been watered down and not as fun for me anymore. I enjoy RPG games because I like to develop a character and take an investment in their world and how their actions shape the world around them, I blame my interest in writing for that.
Favorite games are:
Dragon Age series
Mass Effect series
The Elder Scrolls series
Fallout series
Assassin's Creed series
League of Legends
Civilization series
Total-War series
Halo 1-3, and Halo: Reach
Zelda, Mario, and Metroid
Six things I could never do without
1. Stable internet
2. Women wearing chokers
3. Steak
4. Guinness
5. A way to travel in country or abroad
6. Interesting conversation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, the universe, and everything. Mostly I think about what has happened that day or earlier in the week, and what I'm going to do tomorrow. I also spend a lot of time thinking about ideas to write about or just imagining various scenarios. And why women put such an importance in height... not everyone can be blessed with being over six feet.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm usually either out with friends at a bar, at a friend's house, or at my place relaxing. So pretty typical Friday night for most people. I work Saturday through Wednesday so Friday night is really my Sunday night. But I still like to go out when possible.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Half my face was paralyzed for six months at one point.

Also, I enjoy long walks on the beach. Pretty scandalous, I know.
You should message me if
You're willing to talk nerdy to me. Truly, I enjoy talking to people all over the world, so if you're looking for a relationship, someone to trust, or just someone to talk to, send me a message. And if you're interested in nerdy things, movies, computer/video games, comics, or TV shows, send me a message then too. Talk nerdy to me ;)
