My self-summary
An (I wish I wasn't) American living in Tel-Aviv. You could say I'm fresh of the boat having arrived around a month ago.

I just moved from San Francisco which was an amazing city were I worked as an art teacher and general creative person.

I am the worlds most intense Anglophile, I lived in England for six years and I want nothing more then to move back there. Unfortunately for me the British government doesn't seem to care what I want...

I think of my self as kind, empathetic, creative, funny and generally up for a good time.

If you do decide to message me, I'm afraid its going to have to be in english. Im fluent in spoken hebrew but can't read or write it at all.
What I’m doing with my life
That's a great question. If you know will you tell me?

I'm about to start an MA in English Literature, with an eye to getting a Ph.D in Victorian Social history. (Probably the most useful degree in the world) Hopefully at Haifa university. I am also hoping to find a job working with kids, "as they are the future" or just really small and totally funny
I’m really good at
Smiling, Talking, Listening, Thinking.

Genuinely connecting with people.

Finding everything in the whole world totally interesting.

Being a creative thinker and doer... which I think means I like to think about things differently and make art, but honestly I could be wrong

And even more random historical trivia....
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and if your lucky a sparkle in my eye
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I would call myself an avid reader or listener as the case may be. I am pretty much exclusively interested in British Literature from every era. I really love detective fiction, especially Agatha Christi who I think is a genius.
I think one of my favorite books which definitely has the best title is called To Say Nothing of the Dog or How They Found the Bishops Bird Stump at last.

I spent years immersing myself in films. I have a background in costume design which as fueled that interest. I would say films play a much smaller place in my life generally. I LOVE animated films, not to be confused with Anime.

I'm afraid that I am genuinely music retarded. I can enjoy listening to music but struggle if its on all the time. I am trying to learn to play the guitar and piano... which given how much I love music is going about that well...

Food is a whole other thing, I trained as a French Chef at the Le Cordon Bleu in London. I love food probably in an unhealthy way... I wouldn't say I'm a foodie as much as a feeder. I love cooking for people trying new dishes and really making things that people will enjoy eating makes me really happy.
Six things I could never do without
Winston (my dog)

Bluetooth Headphones (I tried once and just couldn't do it)

The acquisition of mostly useless knowledge. example (sea otters have a special pouch in their armpit where they keep their favorite tools.

Arts supplies

A seriously awesome hug/cuddle
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Art projects, I pretty much walk around all the time thinking about how I can use the world and the objects in them to make something really interesting.

I also spend an unhealthy amount of time trying to figure out how to paint clouds
On a typical Friday night I am
Chilling with Winston, watching a documentary or good TV series and making something cool. Or going out to a gig and hanging with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love victorian social history, Some times when I can forget that they didn't have many modern conveniences and used to poison themselves with their wall paper. I wish I could have lived then.
You should message me if
kind, Smart, Ideally tall (I need to make up for my genetically challenged height) funny, affectionate, passionate, an insatiable appetite for learning, not afraid of commitment. Really wants to settle down and have kids
