My self-summary
Can I just be honest here? I am new to Bakersfield. I am looking for friends to go out and do things with. I like meeting new people, but Bakersfield doesn't seem to be a city with a thriving social setting. Let's be active. Let's go hiking. Let's find a kickass happy hour. Let's go dancing. When was the last time you went on a picnic? What about a day trip to a beach or national park?

Here are a list of things I like to do. Hit me up if you think we'd get along on any of these.

- Hiking
- Flow Arts / Fire Spinning
- Travel
- Camping
- Guitar/Ukulele & Singing
- Rock Climbing
- Happy Hours (mostly craft beer)
- Yoga
- Intellectual Conversations

Don't be afraid to say "hey".
What I’m doing with my life
I'm somewhat in limbo at the moment. I've spent the better part of a decade living in Austin, TX. I just travelled through South America for a few months and came to stay with my family for while.

I am working on getting my Cicerone certification (craft beer expert). I am also a performing artist (Flow Arts/Fire Spinning) at festivals.
I’m really good at
Being genuine, connecting with people, making others laugh, having a good time, as well as hobbies I've picked up over the years.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I started a conversation with them for no reason other than to talk to someone new.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
BOOKS: Favorite book & author: "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho

MUSIC ARTISTS: Nahko & Medicine for the People, Eric Hutchinson, Mayday Parade, Never Shout Never, Griz, The Floozies, and more.

FOOD: Mostly anything. Love burgers & Indian food. Let's find something new to try.

SHOWS: How I Met Your Mother, or anything else on Netflix.
The six things I could never do without
My communication skills, friends, flow toys, musical instruments, camping equipment, creativity.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to meet new people in Bakersfield.
On a typical Friday night I am
I have no typical Friday night
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I put on a lot of weight when I first moved away from home and had to lose it all.
You should message me if
You're authentic, want to make a new friend, and maybe do something new.

Don't be shy, I want to meet you :)
