Profile remains active to meet new people and begin friendships. Currently in a committed monogamous relationship :)
Oh hi there :)
My name is Michelle. Some friends call me Ivy.
I work in IT and bought a townhouse in Boynton 2 years ago so I'd be closer to work. I love to learn and do fairly well (sometimes even exceptionally well ;D) at most things I apply myself to. I'm self-taught in my field and am currently self-studying to be a Network Admin.
To be honest, I'm sort of a recluse. Making friends is the part that takes the most effort for me. Once I cross that bridge though, I'm a dedicated friend who loves to try new things and make new awesome memories :D
I think my partner should be my best friend. :)
Sure some of the questions can be uncomfortable to answer, but am I the only one who feels uncomfortably judgmental when answering the "ideal match" part of the questions? I'm the kind of person who find exceptions for everything and I feel uneasy passing judgment without knowing the context, circumstances, character, etc of someone :/
I'm not articulating this well, but if you're similar in this way I'm sure you'll get it lol
I haven't done some of my favorites in awhile but last time I gave them I go, I was still fairly good at: baseball, swimming, water polo, acting...
Shows: I have a sci-fi problem, e.g. - Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Eureka, Fringe.
I watch non sci-fi dramas less often... I'm a little too intense all on my own. Last TV drama I watched and enjoyed was Downton Abbey.
Comedies - Arrested Development, Raising Hope, The Office, Louis C.K., The IT Crowd
afterthought - most stuff in the DC animated universe and historical or cultural documentaries. The documentaries keep me living vicariously till I find the money and time to do some serious traveling :)
Music: Anything that makes you move or provokes emotion.
Soul, Blues, Funk, anything with lots of percussion :)
I don't think I'm a heavy metal kind of girl, but one of my favorite bands is Slipknot, and I like listening to bands within or similar to that genre.
Lots of stuff near and in between Queen, The Seatbelts, Bjork, Fiona Apple, Shakira, Regina Spektor, Taking Back Sunday, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Chemical Brothers, Jack Johnson, Chuck Berry, Jimmy Eat World, Flyleaf, Train, Alanis Morissette, Ella Fitzgerald...
Food: I will try almost anything once. My favorite is cuban food though, it's home for me :) Unlike most of my family, I'm kind of weak when it comes to anything spicy.
Or out - at a work outing or at my friend's DJ/KJ show
