What I’m doing with my life
1. Working for Emory.
2. I try to make it out to see a show when possible.
3. *insert interesting and impressive hobby here*
I’m really good at
I'm pretty good at cooking and at scrabble. I used to be good at rock climbing and surfing, but not much of that going on in ATL. I THINK I'm good at teaching people new things...apparently I'm not very good at doing my taxes.
The first things people usually notice about me
Dry sense of humor? Opposable thumbs? I don't know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: the sun also rises, mountains beyond mountains, unbearable lightness of being, sirens of Titan, pathologies of power, for whom the bell tolls, cutting for stone, hot zone, anything by hunter s Thompson, a brief history of time

Movie: clerks, Donnie darko, ferris buellers day off, life aquatic, fear and loathing, slc punk, high fidelity, requiem for a dream, Solaris, outbreak, the lost boys, crybaby, primer, the room, wild at heart, melancholia, biutiful

Music: whoever I last saw live...stuff on my playlist now: cursive, blonde redhead, wild beasts, he's my brother she's my sister, Tom waits, cut copy, tv on the radio, black milk, misfits, brand new, washed out, Bon iver, Beirut, snowden, Black taxi, yeasayer
The six things I could never do without
Coffee, cheese, beer, music, stories, little Caesars, kevin smith movies, old books, science, Gary busey quotes, movies that are so bad they're good, old brick buildings +/- ivy, places that are open 24 hours, skylines
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Food, music, traffic, medicine, student loans....probably in that order....wow what a depressing question.
On a typical Friday night I am
Maybe out. Maybe seeing a show. Maybe throwin' shapes. Hopefully not on call.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was like 7, I was briefly enrolled in ballet classes...my mother told me it would make me a more graceful athlete...it did not.
You should message me if
You have absolutely nothing better to do.
