My self-summary
Perfectly flawed filled with contradiction.
Sometimes I burn my toast; other times I can turn out something beautiful in the kitchen.
Love to work hard and can definitely feel no guilt when doing nothing.
Love my alone time and crave companionship.
Consider myself quiet, yet others think I'm social.
Enjoy the solitude of the woods and the frenetic pace of the city.
Love structure, yet enjoy the spontaneous.
Grew up with dogs; then two cats; now thinking about getting a dog again.
Feel confident, yet can still feel insecure.
Hair was long; now it's short; it'll probably get long, again.

That's good for now.
What I’m doing with my life
Working on it. Seeking to constantly improve and live by example. Finding all the things that need attention and the little projects (for now) that arise in my house.
I’m really good at
-laughing and making people laugh
-learning things quickly (wel, maybe not s much as before. the memory is not where it used to be)
-cooking (grill it!)
-things that entail using my hands
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know...no one really tells me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
BOOK: fiction: 'Blood Meridian' by Cormac McCarthy (the battle scene is epic); non-fiction: Thich Nhat Hanh stuff; Marshall Rosenberg stuff; 'On Food and Cooking' by Harold McGee
MOVIE: City of God, Harakiri (the original version), Blade Runner, Throne of Blood, and various documentaries.
MUSIC: My music taste spans every genre, but I tend to gravitate toward soul, funk, reggae, and blues. And now bluegrass.
FOOD: honest, clean, and tasty
The six things I could never do without
-something to read
-the forest
-my hands
-a shower
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What to cook next
Where to eat
Where to go hiking
What to plant in the garden
What project needs to get done
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully, not working.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I can be private.
You should message me if
You want to meet...Isn't that the purpose of this thing?
