My self-summary
I've been told I'm a pleasant surprise.

Unabashed, a little weird, very open, with a quick wit and a bit 'o snark. I love people and events, but they drain me, I get huge pleasure from a night out drinking, but it's the day after lazing on the couch that recharges my batteries. In that sense I think of myself as a very gregarious introvert.
What I’m doing with my life
I work (though no more than I have to) and play (as much as I can). I think that down time is as important as activities, and what really matters is who you're doing either with.
I’m really good at
Spinning a Frisbee on my finger... maybe even throwing one.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know what it is, but for whatever reason it rarely takes more than 3 visits to a restaurant or store for the staff to start recognizing me...

I recently ran into a very old friend who I didn't recognize at all, he informed me that I have a very distinctive head shape. Thanks Andy!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Love Ian McEwan and John Irving, but I'm admittedly a very slow reader.

Movies: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is great... however I'll watch and enjoy just about anything (though be warned, once I start watching I don't quit lightly).

Shows: GoT, West World, Archer (other usual suspects)... though I wouldn't say I watch a ton of TV.

Music: I'm a sucker for pop... but stand out favorite song these days is Data: Don't Sing (crazy music video).

Foods: Sucker for food trucks: Curry Up Now, Koja Kitchen, Señor Sisig, Ebbett's... I really like all food.
Six things I could never do without
I'm going to ignore this question, and just talk about things I like...

- The rain, I worked at a summer camp for many years and the sound of a downpour on tent flaps is magical.
- Surprise adventures, planning is great and all, but I love to be taken by surprise by something exciting and unique.
- Conversation, who doesn't, but I'm a verbal beast and stimulating, challenging, enthralling conversation is awesome.
- Cozy things, give me a small comfortable spot to curl up in and I'm happy.
- Friends, trite I know, but I moved to SF about 4 years ago and have been very lucky to find so many wonderful people.
- Good food, we all have to eat, it might as well be tasty.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The "big" and "little" spoon distinction. In my experience when actual spoons spoon the outer and inner spoons aren't bigger and littler respectively.
On a typical Friday night I am
Decompressing from the week... sometimes that means drinks with friends others it means curling up on the couch. No matter the activity, what's important is the company.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I run around my block multiple times, multiple times a week (crossing streets slows me down). This is a source of endless lighthearted ribbing from by friends and strava-quaintances.
You should message me if
If you'd like to meet someone new, it's really that simple.
