My self-summary
I try to get on every roof of every building I can get in in New York. Sometimes this results in amazing views of the city. Sometimes this results in loud alarms and running down several flights of stairs in nervous excitement. VERY rarely does it result in a group of Italian guys chasing me across 46th Street screaming that they will break my fucking legs if I don't stop. VERY rarely.

Biking in the city is the best. All these new bike lanes are awesome but I feel bad for the new wave of NYC cyclists who are gonna miss out on the art of the rush hour bob and weave.

I'm a vegan but most new friends are surprised to find that out about me, which I take as a compliment. Few of my friends are vegan. I don't care that you're not. I love vegan and vegetarian restaurants, but I usually eat at non-vegetarian ones. Thai, Ethiopian, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Mediterranean. As long as there's a decent vegan option on the menu, I'm cool.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm getting my masters in Historic Preservation at Pratt. My goal is to work with under-served communities to protect their cultural landmarks from gentrification.
I'm also involved in the Black Lives Matter movement. If you can't get behind that, we most definitely will not work out. And you're racist.

I'm a licensed New York City tour guide and give walking tours of the city through a private company as well as through the awesome Municipal Art Society, the group who saved Grand Central Terminal in the '70s from meeting the same fate as the original Pennsylvania Station.

I'm studying ASL for no reason other than to learn a new, beautiful language.

I studied improv at UCB for years and still perform monthly with my 6-year-old improv team. I was a "street artist" for a brief period then this happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOWa0JsHH6M
I’m really good at
Taking pretty pictures of NYC on Instagram and then losing followers because I post too much about Black Lives Matter.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a nonfiction dude. My book shelf is filled with books on contemporary art, New York history, and comedy.

I love contemporary art and hit the MoMA, Whitney, and Brooklyn Museum pretty regularly. Some all time faves are Hank Willis Thomas, Swoon, Kehinde Wiley, Keith Haring, Emory Douglas, and Banksy. Also really love Storm King and Dia Beacon.

Very much into: Broad City, The Eric Andre Show, Nathan For You, BoJack Horseman, Stranger Things, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Tim and Eric, The Daily Show, Colbert, and will always have a place in my heart for the greatest show of all time, Wonder Showzen

Movies on my top shelf: Wet Hot American Summer, The Room, Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums, Secretary, A History of Violence, The Squid and the Whale, Office Space, The Wiz, Flight of the Navigator

Been listening to the Hamilton soundtrack a lot lately. Have you heard of this show?
