My self-summary
I like messages that say more than "Hi" or "Hey". If you message me, please say more than one syllable. Otherwise I likely won't reply.

I bet you've often thought "you know, I need more awesome people in my life".

And you know what, I like to think I'm a pretty awesome person. I mean, I'm pretty hilarious, I go out of my way to do things for people I care about, I'm quirky, I'm witty (but only when I don't try to be, otherwise it's a complete disaster), I have some musical prowess, sit on the Board of Directors for a film festival and I'm pretty talented at finding you the lowest price on a flight or vacation thanks to my epic and well practiced googling skills.

I love hearing peoples stories. I think it is one of the most humbling experiences to have someone share their story with you.

Traveling is awesome and I find a lot of joy in seeking new places and pushing myself out of my every day comfort bubble. I've lived in Ireland and have traveled quite a bit in Europe, as well as some trips to Mexico and Jamaica. I recently (and finally) got to visit Iceland...and I am in love. I don't know where my next trip will be.

I have a passion for youth and them knowing that they're valued, cared for and loved and I've aligned myself with jobs that have provided me the opportunity to live that passion out. Currently I work as a research analyst in an organization that focuses on impacting positive change for young people involved in government systems.
What I’m doing with my life
Bending to the whim and will of my cats' every wish and desire.
I’m really good at
Doing "little things" for people I care about
Kissing (or so I have been told)
Over analyzing illogical probabilities and possibilities in movies.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. I know it's pretty cliche, but I am told they're pretty amazing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Phantom of the Opera, Different Seasons

Movies: Princess Bride, Die Hard Series (though 1 and 3 really are the best), Mary and Max, Kontroll, Memento, Tangled, Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

TV: Right now, Walking Dead is really the only show I plan around. I like Chopped, HIMYM, Big Bang, Cutthroat Kitchen. I don't have cable anymore though and, so anything I watch is just online.

Music: I tend to like a wide range, but I particularly feel drawn to folk/singer/songwriter type stuff. I like Mumford and Sons, Of Monsters and Men. I get to see Barenaked Ladies on their 150 tour, so I'm pretty stoked about that. Palestrina is also pretty cool.
Six things I could never do without
- Philosophical debates on the future zombie apocalypse
- Ability to travel to new and exciting destinations
- Comfy blankets
- Sunshine
- Clamato Juice
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to have new experiences. Where I'm going to travel to next. Chicken. Purging my material possessions and whether I could live in a Tiny House. The incongruities and inconsistencies of Jurassic Park (and now Jurassic World - specifically that one scene that would have created an entirely different outcome for everyone if just one little thing had been done differently. You know the scene I'm talking about!). Online Ticketing Systems and processing fees. Career Goals. Sloths.

And the zombie apocalypse.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home or a friends house, or a quaint pub. Playing board games, watching movies, going to a cool gig.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am plotting my advances towards world domination.
You should message me if
You're looking for an awesome girl with an open mind. If you're looking for a partner to ride roller coasters with. If you think playing hide and seek in Ikea sounds like fun. If you're looking for a relationship and not just a hook up.
