What I’m doing with my life
I moved to the bay area in 2014 to work in affordable housing development. Before coming here, I was doing the same kind of work in Wisconsin where, in reality, affordable housing just isn't that big of a deal. It's been nice change to live in a city where there's an actual urgency behind the work I do.

Outside of work, I try to find every opportunity I can to get out of the city and climb a mountain or swim in a river. Always looking for recommendations for new destinations, but especially anyone that can show me around the east side of the Sierras!

Around town, I play music with a few small groups (mostly for fun, don't really play out much). Lately I've been playing a lot of bluegrass/old timey stuff, but am always down to try something new.
I’m really good at
Drawing pictures of old men, playing bluegrassy versions of pop songs on the guitar, talking in a fake Russian accent...
