My self-summary
I think I am a relatively attractive, smart, curious, loving and energetic woman and I would like to find someone to play, eat, hike, travel and enjoy the Sunday NYTimes with.

I was born and raised in New Orleans and still enjoy good food, music, wearing costumes and laughing at bad government.

I really like technology and the how it enhances my life, such as connecting me to long lost friends and efficiently gathering useless information that I find fascinating.

I've had many different seemingly unrelated careers from managing a Ballet company, working at a Zoo, trading commodities, running a park system to installing art and I am so lucky; I have never been bored.

I have a son who lives with his wife and my two granddaughters and a daughter who teaches SCUBA diving and other sporty activities near by, so we stay closely connected.

Traveling and exploring new places and experiencing different cultures is really really important to me. I like to combine travel with hiking or kayaking or some other activity and then enjoy a shower, a glass of wine and excellent food.

I would like to find someone who shares some of these interests but also brings their own variety of experiences and pursuits to the relationship.

If you think we can enhance each other's lives, let's connect.
What I’m doing with my life
I am making art, volunteering, hanging with my grand daughters, traveling and pondering my next thing.
I’m really good at
solving some problems, planning vacations, helping friends with computer issues, making lists, cleaning the cat box, baking carrot cake and creating excuses not to do my taxes. These are just a few... ;-)
The first things people usually notice about me
are my smile, curiosity and probably my legs.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like reading biographies and watching clever science fiction movies. I read the NY Times online. I like most music except discordant jazz and my favorite foods at the moment are almost all crustaceans, eggplant, artichokes, avocados, creamed spinach, sushi and most soup. I LOVE to cook, so I love to eat.
The six things I could never do without
Hmmmm - I think I could survive without most everything although I would be very unhappy without access to my family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
too many things. My brain is very busy.
On a typical Friday night I am
I really don't really have a typical Friday night...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is too secret to spill here.
You should message me if
you are curious, want to go hiking or enjoy lively conversation.
