My self-summary
I've gotten really in to cycling the past couple years so a lot of things I've done lately revolve around doing that better. I completed my first two 100 mile rides this year and I'm super pumped for next year's riding season to attack even more of them.

I also have a couple of raised garden beds in my backyard and find it a fun hobby to grow various kind of fruits and vegetables. This past season was all about tomatoes and peppers -- maybe I'll expand out of my comfort zone for next season.

Lastly, for the winter I love skiing. I tried snowboarding a couple times, but there's still so much of the mountain that I have yet to conquer on skis that I'm not quite ready to give those up.
What I’m doing with my life
trying to improve myself. It's always the next hardest thing that I can't do that I want to do next -- whether is figuring out how to ski moguls faster (or, truth be told, well at all) or riding the next century.
I’m really good at
dog sitting for my friends! Their dog is super cute, so I try my best when I've got her
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Ender's Game, Harry Potter series (3rd and 5th are my favorites), Rich Dad Poor Dad, and the Name of the Wind (it's fantastic)

Movies: The Incredibles, Memento, The Prestige, Batman Begins (apparently I'm a big Christopher Nolan fan)

TV Shows: Chuck, Top Chef, and really anything on USA (Burn Notice, Suits, White Collar, Royal Pains...)

Music: Neon Trees, Rise Against, and anything by John Williams (that guy is a musical genius). Also, I recently discovered a channel on Spotify that is the soundtrack from the TV series Chuck... and it is quite awesome.

Food: delicious
The six things I could never do without
- Dreams
- calendar/planner
- parents
- beer
- skiing
- my roomba
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to cook. It'd be sweet to be able to just whip up something fancy-schmancy whenever I get hungry... buuuut... I usually just end up throwing stuff into a pot and calling it a meal.
On a typical Friday night I am
alternating between hitting up a local brewery that does fun stuff Fridays and staying in for drinking board games with pretty much the same group of friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I often times find myself singing along to Katy Perry. What can I say, her songs are catchy.
