My self-summary
Dating these days can be pretty rough so props to everyone that is giving this online thing a go!

So a bit about me. It's funny you know because most people's profiles that I read say something along the lines of how difficult it is to write about yourself; as I'm sitting here brainstorming, I must agree. So here goes! I've been in NY area for about 5 years and have moved around a bit (LES --> NJ --> Brooklyn). I love Brooklyn though and don't really see myself picking up and moving anywhere else.

As cliched as it sounds, I'm really into traveling and look to get away at least once a year (although preferably more!). This year I've got my sights set on Russia and Hungary but next year I'm thinking of doing an Amazon river tour. I will say though that I've never had a trip like backpacking through various countries in Africa...simply amazing! That being said, I enjoy more small scale things like going on a weekend hike out of the city.

I'm also a pretty big nerd which I feel is good these days. Small story to underscore this point. When the BBC Life series came out I may or may not have actually visited various stores to purchase the version of the series narrated by David Attenborough vs. Oprah. So that gives you a sense ;).

So if you're a nerd that likes to explore, we might get along. :)
