My self-summary
I have a full-time job that I love. I am NOT a workaholic. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I believe people need balance in life. I focus completely on my job while I'm there, but once I leave? I'm not worried about work. I'm thinking about other things.

I have a degree in paralegal studies, I've worked as a paralegal, and I enjoyed the time I spent as a paralegal. Circumstances beyond my control changed my life in 2009 and I'm not a paralegal anymore. I work in logistics now, and have been with this company for 2 years. I'm actually in a much better position personally than I was 5 years ago.

With all that said, I'm a material coordinator at a warehouse in the shipping/receiving office. I handle everything that comes in and out of the warehouse and coordinate appointment scheduling for pickups and deliveries. I also help support an engine production facility as an assistant to a site support manager. I really do enjoy my job, and my paralegal experience has made it SO much easier!
What I’m doing with my life
I know who I am and what I'm doing right now. I've never been one of those people who knows exactly what they're going to be doing in 5 years, though.

I'm considering getting a degree in logistics and supply chain management. It would put me in an excellent position for career advancement.

As for my personal life, I'd like to get married eventually, but anybody reading this knows how important (and hard!) it is to find the right person.
I’m really good at
Remaining calm in a crisis. My friends and family tell people all the time that I am definitely the one to have around in a crisis because I'm so calm and level headed through it. Things that send other people into a panic don't get to me in the moment.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm quiet and tend to take in what's going on before I dive in. I want to know what I'm getting into! It takes a lot to get me upset. I'm a pretty level headed person.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read, but there's no possible way I could pick a favorite book. There are just too many good ones out there.

As for movies, well, I'll take a cheesy horror movie, please! I love horror movies, but I haven't found a really, truly scary one. Ever. My goal is to find one.

The only TV show I watch with any regularity is The Walking Dead and I have to wait until fall for that to come back!

I love music. Just music. I'm not a fan of metal, though. If I had to pick, I'd say my favorite is country, but that's only because it's what is on my car radio most of the time.
The six things I could never do without
I really hate this question. I feel like people are judging me entirely based on the choices I make here.

1. Friends
2. Family
3. God
4. Books
5. Love
6. ? I don't know...I can't think of sixth.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
There's really no one thing I spend a a lot of time thinking about. It depends on my mood at the time and what's happening around me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Starting on August 30, bowling. Yes, I said bowling! My best friend has been bowling on a league for years and they had an opening on her team. She asked if I was interested and I said "why not?!" :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm terrified of pigeons. Yep. Pigeons.

And I HATE the sound of fingernail clippers. That clicking sound is like nails on a chalk board for me!
You should message me if
you're not into drama. We all have our own stuff, so there's no need to borrow trouble!
