My self-summary
I like to think I'm a pretty easy-going, happy type. I'm a big music fan and love going to shows. I'm into art, FOOD, being active without obsession, and cruising around on my bike. My bike's name is Ignacio, incidentally, which must be pronounced with great Latin flare...and ideally a flamenco hand twist/stomp combo. You just did it, didn't you?

I'm very social and love my friends. They're all keepers. I can get the party moving but also like to go with the flow.

What else...I live downtown and love the city, but also like getting out of it and into a bit of space. I've travelled fairly widely and have lived abroad twice. I want to see every bit of the world if I can, which surely makes me the most unique person on okc.

Well, that's me, more or less. Kinda. Well it's a tiny internet sliver anyway.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a good gig that I care about and that challenges my brain. I have long-term goals, but am careful to appreciate all that I have now and enjoy the ride (cool story bro). Happiness is top priority.
I’m really good at
powerin' through a Guinness, sizzlin' in the kitchen, and avin' a laugh. And apostrophizin'.
The first things people usually notice about me
They usually tell me that my name makes me sound like a spy, or a pornstar. And that I look like neither...possibly because I am unmustachioed.

Update: I'm partly mustachioed. Well scruffy all round. No change in pornstar status.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm into any and all music. Indie, blues, soul, all of it. Caribou, Leon Bridges, Broken Social Scene, Chance, Alvvays, Dilly Dally, Daft Punk, Tribe, Kendrick, Bobby-D, and Stevie Ray all come to mind, but I try to keep discovering. Some favourite authors: Eggers, Steinbeck, Atwood (but not so much with the dystopia), Franzen, and Hemingway. I've got a long queue of podcasts - This American Life, Stuff You Should Know, 99% Invisible, Hardcore History, Savage Lovecast, etc etc. I'm into most kinds of films...light comedy, intense drama, quirky thoughtful ones. I'm also a sucker for nature documentaries, for some reason. Probably David Attenborough's voice. Best naps ever.
Six things I could never do without
my bike, a record store, beer/wine/whiskey (that's 1, deal with it OKC), parks, new people, old favourites.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
food and travel. Ideally smooshed together. (But currently having a squirrel moment with the word smoosh...smooosh...smooooooooosh....)
On a typical Friday night I am
out on the town at a restaurant, fun bar, lively pub, or at a show. Not against a night-in either, alone to recharge or with a good soul.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Real talk: I've met good, even great women online, but have found real strong connections hard to find through it. I'm glad this exists and am still optimistic...but I kinda want off the ride 🎢
You should message me if
you're a fun, good-hearted person, of quick wit who loves a good belly laugh. You value humility and mostly practise it.
