My self-summary
If you don't feel like reading all of this, here's a summary in song form:

So first off, I'm on here mostly because I've been working all the time lately, and I'm REALLY bored. So, you know, if you're cool, I'll talk to you. It will get me some outside contact.

I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to care about too much. I try to live as much of a laid back life style as possible, so I can save my energy for stuff that really matters to me. I graduated from college with a bachelors in film, but in a strange plot twist, I ended up getting a job making video games. Oh yeah, almost forgot, well actually I did forget when I did this like an hour ago, I don't drive. So you know, you'll have to deal with that.

I'm now bored, so I'm going to think of some more stuff to put on here. So let's see...

I play a crap ton of video games. At least now I can try to claim that it is for my professional interests instead of just being a huge nerd.
Unless you're ready for a long discussion where I will be doing a lot of the talking, never get me started on anything relating to film history, or honestly history in general.

This thing is telling me that this is the picture that I should use for my profile. I personally think it's really dumb.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm assuming this means my job. I currently work for a small indie video game studio as the lead designer, and act as a project manager for development. That sounds like a resume... I draw fun stuff for games and dream of being somewhere with dependable weather. That sounds better.
I’m really good at
Studying different kinds of art forms, having intellectual discussions, playing the drums (okay maybe not REALLY good, but good enough), and just being nice to people around me in general. Oddly enough I'm also really good at acting like a jerk, but I pretty much never mean it, I just think it is a fun way of goofing off.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically they notice my glasses, and the fact that I'm a pretty slim guy. Personality wise they generally notice that I'm pretty laid back and I don't let things get to me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'll be honest, I don't read as much as I did when I was a teenager, so you know, I'm not even going to answer book. It's not that I don't like to read, I just haven't in so long.

Dr. Strangelove (This is my total favorite)
Citizen Kane (Look, it's historically really important, and if you got a few hours to kill I can tell you why)
David Lynch vehicles
Road House
Most of Stanley Kubrick's stuff
All of Alfred Hitchcock's stuff (North by Northwest is easily one of the greatest movies ever made)
Anything the Coen Brothers have touched
Blade Runner
The Princess Bride
Low budget horror movies
Bad ass action movies
Really anything as long as there was some clear thought put into the creation of it

I like pretty much everything, but I guess here's some highlights
Streetlight Manifesto/Old Catch 22
Two Gallants
That Starsailor song from the end of Metal Gear Solid 3 (oh yeah, I'm totally kind of a nerd, deal with that one)
I kind of like bad pop-punk from the 90's-early 2000's a lot
Cheap Trick
Blondie (Okay, so I happen to like Blondie a little too much)

Don't judge me too harshly on this one, because if this site is teaching me anything, it's that you probably like Drag Race.

Twin Peaks
Community, Parks and Rec, and 30 Rock
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Doctor Who
Sherlock (Though I need to see season 2)
Most things with Matt Berry in it (If you can find a way, check out Snuffbox. There was only six episodes, but it was hilarious)
The Daily Show/Colbert Report
South Park
Venture Bros
Key and Peele (They totally did a skit that I'm pretty sure only people who study film would understand, which is awesome)
Check it Out! With Dr. Steve Brule
Eastbound and Down
Restaurant Impossible (seriously, Robert Irvine is like the strongest man in the world).

I'll try just about anything once. I don't like really tough food though, like tentacles or hearts. Gator is delicious. Vegetarian dishes can be good if prepared well.
Six things I could never do without
This is a tough one, because I don't mind adapting to not having stuff...

1. Good food
2. Good Movies
3. My own personal space
4. Friends
5. Time to use my brain
6. Kind people
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Mostly my future, and what I need to keep myself happy. I'd list some specifics, but that stuff changes too much with the times, so what I say now could be different at some point.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm not working then I am either out with some friends having a few drinks, or at home relaxing on my own depending on my mood.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
OH! OH! I just thought of one! After I have sex, I like to go outside, have a cigarette alone and collect myself. That's not really all that private though. I mean I tell people that all the time.

I wonder if one day I will find someone on here that is 100% my enemy, and if we will some day meet at last, and possibly have to do battle.
You should message me if
If you feel like it I guess. I don't even know if I'm honestly interested in meeting anyone from off of here, I just like getting to know people. You stand a way better chance of catching my interest if you message me first. I like go getters.

Keep in mind that I'm looking for new friends, but I'm also keeping the option open that I can find a great enemy on here as well. So you know, if you think that you would totally hate me, let me know!

Oh yeah and as a Public Service Announcement, I know about the existence of Google's reverse image search. So if you're trying to get me to join your free cam site or whatever, then I'm going to find out exactly where you are stealing pics from in about two minutes. Don't even bother.
