My self-summary
I'm Spencer! To summarize: I'm a positive, outgoing guy who likes to try new things! In fact, one of my friends calls me "Yes Man" because of this. Even though I like trying new things, I do like having a night in at least some of the time, with things like game nights or movie nights (hey, even I get de-energized sometimes). Cards against humanity might be a favorite game of mine. Just maybe.

I just started the violin in February, and already learning some songs such as lindsey stirling's zelda remix (note: slightly hard for a beginner). Its really peaceful and relaxing to be able to relax and play a familiar song. I keep on asking to learn vibrato, but my teacher just keeps on scolding me because its too soon!

I'm thankful to have gotten back into Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The people in the one photo? They're from my class, and they're my family.

I'm also going back to school for nursing right now; I've come to realize my current job doesn't give me what I want out of a job. I really want a job where I can connect to people better, and help more people. It'll take me a little while, but its more than worth it.

I'm looking for someone who takes care of themselves, is smart, creative, and thoughtful! I definitely try to have these qualities myself.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm going back to school for a nursing degree.
I’m really good at
*Submitting rivals in BJJ. Except when they're more experienced. Then it doesn't usually go as plannned.
*Preparing for the zombie apocalypse with the help of video games
*Using a lead pencil to make masterpieces on paper
*Making great woodburning art (see pictures)
*Improv acting. This really should be more popular. Can't recommend it enough! Check out the Baltimore Improv Group,
*Playing the violin: surprisingly difficult. But so worth it.
*Mud runs: just tried one recently, and it was a lot of fun!
The first things people usually notice about me
My blue eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Night Angel triology, The Lightbringer series, a Madness of Angels, The Midnight Mayor, The Hobbit. Ive been reading more books about psychology & self improvement, such as Daring Greatly (Brene Brown) and Quite (Susan Cain)!

TV: House M.D., Family Guy, South Park, DOCTOR WHO, Supernatural, The Arrow, The Flash

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Inception, In Time, Jumper, Harry Potter, Ted

Music: Thousand Foot Krutch, Avenge Sevenfold, Metallica, Evans Blue, Nightwish..... I could go on and on. I'll really listen to almost anything, just have a preference for rock and metal.

Food: Hands down chinese!
The six things I could never do without
*Podcasts (I'd go crazy at work if I didnt have something to listen to)
*Brazilian Jiu-Jutsu (Having this back in my life has helped me a lot)
*My cat (nicknamed halfstache. Ask away)
*Tattoos (Yeah, I could live with out them. But a few are reminders for myself, so it really helps having them around)
*My cellphone (yes, a generic answer. Cut me a little slack!)
*Artwork (life would be dull without a little art wouldn't it?)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I'm going to learn all the songs I want to play. Which book to read next (currently have 3 openned). Why can't I stop time so I can do everything I want.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, gaming, or hanging out with friends.
You should message me if
You're interested and want to learn more!

Also, don't message me if you have anything against the LGBT community. I have several friends in it, and while I am straight, that community will always have my backing.
