It's been about four years now that I signed up here on OKCupid. Still no luck, BUT I SHALL NOT GIVE UP.
Some characteristics I could say about myself:
I'm a bit shy, easy going, sometimes funny, semi-nerdy/geeky (I like fiction, science fiction, comics, anime/manga), kinda laid back, a bit of a homebody, and very creative individual when it comes to art. I try to be active with social life by seeing movies, going the the library, and spending some quality time with my friends and family. Some of you might see me as an introvert.
I kinda consider myself like TED MOSBY from How I Met Your Mother, a guy who wants to find his soulmate a.k.a. my "yellow umbrella" girl (my own Tracy). I would like to proclaim my love like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jmuyaONeCA
They say honesty is always the best policy. So here is me being honest about myself. The whole truth, and nothing but the truth: I'm not into sports (baseball is fine, but I'm not a huge crazy SF Giants fan), I lack muscles, I have NO tattoos and/or piercings, I don't know how to dance or play a musical instrument (the guitar in my photo gallery here on OKC belongs to my father....just posing with it), NOT a dog person (been dealing dog drama since I was 10yrs old AND I was scratched by a dog when I was young....please do no reject me because of my statement. I can deal with dogs.), INFP, I DON'T SMOKE cigars/cigarettes/pot/marijuana/meth, and I am still experimenting in the drinking world so don't expect me to go to a lot of bars. As for religion: my father is Jewish and my mother is Christian...I'm just trying to find my own path while soul searching. I walk on a good path. Also, I find this inspirational for me when it comes to faith: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FJyADKq_MU
I'm the kind of guy who would lend a helping hand for anyone or anything: a kid who dropped their ball in a creek at the park, a blind old lady who fell down an outdoor maintenance shaft, a puppy that got separated from its owner, a pursue that was accidentally left behind by a fellow colleague, or a little girl with an arm-cast trying to lift a fast food baby-chair. I sometimes think I end up at the right place at the right time...like a guardian angel.
I would like to learn and part take in some awesome activities for potential dating experiences:
-Sky diving (both in-door and out-door)
-Wingsuit flying (imagine a human flying squirrel)
-Laser tag (childish yes, but it seems a little bit "awesome"....laugh if you know the HIMYM reference)
I am interested in ALL kinds of women (NOT necessarily in order or all in one person): white, black, asian, tall, short, BBW (also qualifies for anyone is chubby, plus size, overweight, or a little extra).
I'm NOT playing any games or looking for hook-ups. I think that is what is the problem with my fellow men and society.
I used to work part-time at a toy store that sells all things LEGO for 3 years. Its called Play-Well TEKnologies (T = Teaching, E = Engineering to, K= Kids). I mostly work as a clerk/assembler as I make kits for kids across the U.S. and the Globe. A called my position "one of the many elves in Santa's Lego department". I resigned from my job when I moved to Oceanside, and I've be looking for something new.
I've finally been able to heal from a pilondial cyst wound for about 3 years now. I made a lot of progress thanks to some new treatments. Now that I am fully healed I have to be careful about some of my activities, then will get a job and move on with my life. (If you don't know what a pilondial cyst is, look it up at your own risk...its nothing to look at.)
I used to roller skate, ski and ice skate when I was young.
I can do some voice impressions...which are a work in progress. My Bane voice from Dark Knight Rises is flawless....I discovered a trick.
AND I can perform a back massage. (I am not trying to be a chiropractor, I just have a skill that works on family AND I would be lousy at memorizing every bone in the human anatomy).
-Graphic Novels: the works of Alan Moore (Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?, Supreme: The Story of the Year, Miracleman Book 1: A Dream of Flying, Tom Strong, and Watchmen), Frank Miller (Batman - The Dark Knight Returns, Daredevil Visionaries Vol. 2 & 3, & Daredevil: Born Again), Kevin Smith (Green Arrow, Green Hornet, & The Bionic Man), Kurt Busiek's Astro City: The Tarnished Angel, Kirby: Genesis, Jack Kirby's Galactic Bounty Hunters, Spider-Man: The Real Clone Saga, Icon: A Hero's Welcome by Dwayne McDuffie, and anything written by Stan Lee.
Movies: James Bond, Rocky, Jackie Chan movies, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Marxs Brothers, Three Stooges shorts, the Christopher Nolan Batman Trilogy (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, & The Dark Knight Rises), Miyazaki movies, Godzilla movies, Terminator, So I Married an Ax Murderer, Hot Shots Part Deux, Pleasentville, Romeo & Juliet (BOTH the 1968 Zeffirelli and the 1996 Luhrmann movie), The Princess Bride, Hook, The Untouchables, Who Framed Rodger Rabbit, Highlander, Finding Neverland, Marvel's The Avengers, Snow Falling on Cedars, Battle Royale, Aladdin, Rush Hour, Swiss Family Robinson, Now You See Me, AND TONS MORE...
Shows: Married W/ Children, 2 Broke Girls, Two & a Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Melissa & Joey, Boy Meets World, SNL, The Tribe, Firefly, M*A*S*H*, Castle, Drop Dead Diva, Degrassi - The Next Generation, Smallville, Arrow, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Once Upon a Time, Comic Book Men, The Flash, MXC, Ridiculousness, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Wild 'n Out, Avatar - The Last Air Bender, The Legend of Korra, Young Justice, Hey Arnold, Doug, Total Drama series, Dan Vs., The Dating Guy, Chobits, The Librarians, the Marvel's Daredevil & Luke Cage on netflix, Riverdale, AND TONS MORE...
Music: Beatles, Beach Boys, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Motown, Mamas & Papas, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Marvin Gaye, Queen, Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, AC/DC and some R&B.
I also have this weird taste for one hit wonders and soundtrack music from various movies & TV shows as well as some classic and cultural music surrounding operas and musicals like Carmen, the anvil chorus in Il Trovatore, the Nutcracker, Toccata and Fugue (in d minor), Mozart, Bach, Irish/Celtic, Asian.
Food: Cheese pizza, tacos, grilled cheese sandwiches, french fries, ice cream (I'll settle for anything that is vanilla - regular or french, chocolate, chocolate chip, bubblegum, root beer marble, cake, etc.), apples, bananas, grapes, watermelon, and carrots.
2. My family (mainly my parents...even though they have been divorced for most of my life)
3. My cat (her name was Chica)...sadly she passed away on JULY 3RD 2016....might want anew cat in the future.
4. My comic book collection...they are my life's work and one of my most treasured possessions, especially the autographed ones.
5. My binder/notebook full of story ideas...they are the key to the future.
6. My artwork...they are also the key to the future.
Other times I think what to browse/buy on Amazon/bookstores/comic book shops/video stores, life, my hopes and dreams, what to do with my friends, what is playing on tv/movie theater, where I see myself 5 or so years into the future.
And some odd thoughts: how would I look as a bald man, Vinyl revives record players, why so many people use different social network sites instead of just using one, why hasn't there been a president who doesn't a military background since Dwight D. Eisnhower (from 1953-1961), or being a contestant on the dating show "Dating Naked".
No longer studying in college because I finally received my Associate of Arts Degree. Might go back to college to pursue a Bachelor's degree if finding a job doesn't work out.
2.) I still watch cartoons. (I'm a kid at heart)
3.) I DO NOT know how to drive. Seriously. (Kinda working on that...)
4.) I'm scared of sharks (I saw the movie JAWS when I was like 10 years old)...though SyFy summer movies make my fear less real.
5.) I have vampire like teeth/fangs. (DO NOT ASK ME TO BE EDWARD from "TWILIGHT")
6.) I've never had a relationship of any kind: long or short term.
7.) I always wanted to be a Power Ranger since I was a kid.
8.) I've never been inside of a taxi cab or the subway. (I used to reside near both San Francisco and Richmond, so how could I have missed out on that, right?)
9.) For the many ideas on my birthday/Christmas/Hanukkah wishlist I want a girlfriend I can love and cherish, and show her a good time.

I swear I am NOT playing any games or looking for hook-ups. I want a romantic, platonic, and then sexual relationship.
