My self-summary
I'm currently studying business and public policy at UMass. Prior to going back to school, I worked at a buddhist publishing company for some years. I lived in the valley when i was a little guy and have found it nice to be back now as an adult. I can't say that I'm passionate about what I study. I look at it as a means to an end and also as not the worst way to spend my time. Upon graduation, I'd be psyched to get involved with a worker owned business or with a nonprofit arts organization--not particularly interested in going back into publishing. I'm pretty staunchly anti-capitalist and social justice is very important to me. I am drawn to worker owned businesses for many reasons, one being, if i have to spend x amount of hours a day doing something i don't love, i certainly don't want to make someone rich in the process.

I am pretty content with my life. One reason is that my program provides me with tons of free time. With all the time i have, I make music. Music is what I am most passionate about and is what I've been focused on for most of my life. I'm into a whole range of things and love all types of music but the music I make now is techno. I play in a live improvised techno group with my buddy and produce songs at home. It doesn't pay the bills, so i'm trying to cut down on bills.

I've had a whole host of different relationships over the years, each unique, edifying and challenging in there own way, and am not looking for any one thing here. I've been in monogamous relationships and non. I also don't have so many friends in the valley and would be psyched to kick it with nice people even if the physical chemistry doesn't click. So, I guess this is all to say, definitely get in touch if you'd like.

Sorry for the long intro. I had previously had 'student and musician' in this section. haha
