My self-summary
Complicate things captivate me, but doesn't mean that I necessarily complicate things... I still strive for clarity. I'm fond of windows, trees and construction sites. I like visiting cities more than natural beauty (through after a trip to Norway I have become very tempted by the outdoors). I'm very interested in how we organise ourselves around the world.

I can be extremely cynical and lyrical at the same time, and among friends I can get pretty sarcastic. And I'm terrible at ranting, and much better at dialogue/collaboration, so let's skip to the questions!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently developing further the research I did while attending a Narrative Environments MA, about audience's agency in Museums. Unfortunately I can't tell you more unless you sign a NDA.

I'm very good at keeping my evenings busy, usually with talks on pretty random subjects, comedy nights and theatre. Basically anything that justifies me being living in London.
I’m really good at
Not doing things the default way, and communicating my feelings and being assertive in general. Having an opinion but being open minded about it.

[well, these are things I do a lot, so let's hope practice makes perfection]
The first things people usually notice about me
How I don't look like my nationality, since my accent and weird-worded phrases gives it away english is not my native language (by the way, sorry for any grammatical mistakes in this profile, I try my best and I know how annoying they can be).

I get lots on compliments on my tattoos, which is also nice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Bleh, I actually don't give much of a fuck about common taste, but it helps as conversations hooks and such.

Music: I was really into punk rock as a teenager, my taste then evolved to what my friends refer to "disgustingly hipster" music (I really like lyrics, that's all I know). It's "predictable" enough thatI weekly fall in love with my Spotify Discovery playlist.
A few favourites: Amanda Palmer, Okkervil River, Magnetic Fields, Pulp, Radiohead, White Stripes, Frightened Rabbit, Fiona Apple, Metric, The Kinks, Bowie, John Grant

Books: Aaarrgh, no idea how to define... Lots of classic, fantasy and trying to read more sci fi now... Also some more non-fiction stuff relating to history and biology.
Susanna Clarke, Neil Gaiman, Virginia Woolf, Ian McEwan, Vonnegut, etc...

Graphic Novels / Comics Books: I don't care much for
specific heroes, more about the writers (I have read my share of manga back in the day, but I guess I mostly feel quite nostalgic about them) Alan Moore, Garth Ennis, Warren Ellis, Bendis, Brian K. Vaughan (oh my god, SAGA is the best thing ever)

Webcomics: Diesel Sweeties, Perry Bible Fellowship, Hark! A Vagrant, XKCD, Oglaf, A Softer World, Dinosaur Comics.

Movies: Anything someone else has also watched. I hate watching movies and not having who to discuss it with. Too many of my close friends studied Cinema, which sometimes can take the fun out of movies but makes for very interesting conversations.

Series: I'm watching/have watched:
30Rock, Community, Parks and Recreation, Bored to Death, BBT, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, IT Crowd, Arrested Development, Sopranos, The Wire, Girls, Doctor Who, HIMYM, Party Down, The Office, Sherlock, True Blood, The Walking Dead, Louie (just genius), Wilfred, Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Firefly, Broad City

Can we pretend we never wasted hours watching LOST?

Food: I'm not a foodie, I tend to like places more for the atmosphere than anything else. Through I love trying new things and I tend to avoid too much artificial stuff.

Theatre: I will buy tickets to any adaptation of any Ibsen's work.
Six things I could never do without
Scientific method
Public transport
Blending in the crowd
Feeling welcomed/understood
Proper kerning
Good pillow talk
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The blurred division between graphic design and art, human expression in general, intersectional feminism, objective morality, personal is political, anecdotal and sample numbers, capitalist competition and open source collaboration, censorship and being nice to people, tolerance, you know, the usual.
On a typical Friday night I am
Preferably a cocktail bar or anywhere you can actually hear the conversation and drink something nice. If dancing is allowed, all the better.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't really get how privacy, on a personal level, enhances anything.

Oh, sorry, were we suppose to say something light and fun? My belly button is not the one I was born with.
You should message me if
If you are up to meeting up in person for a drink, I actually really enjoy meeting new people (and I'm generally weary of how tone translates into messages when you don't know each other personalities)

Let me make this easy: If after reading my whole profile you still don't have a clue what to write to me, I will help you out: send me the definition of a interesting word I might not know. I'm not saying I will reply, but is a selfish way for me to improve my vocabulary.
