My self-summary
I’m a military transplant, retired from the USAF. I’m interested in lots of activities I just don’t like doing them alone. Simple things like Ren-Fair, Girdwood Forest Fair, Eagle River Bear Paw Festival, If any of these things sound fun/interesting and you would like to go as an activity partners or a meet and greet or *gasp* an actual real world date! Let me know. Coffee is always an option. Or if you have a favorite activity and would like an activity partner, ask If I'm available I'd be glad to tag along. I’ve been to Spain, Lived/worked in Turkey and deployed to Saudi and UAE.

I'm LTR friendly, but realize every journey begins with a first step. I've had a few "first and only" dates and, while that bothered me at first, I realize now that this is totally acceptable and that neither of us should read too much into it. We are either interested or not...no harm or offense received or taken if neither of us care to continue, Deal? Casual, no expectations just a chance to connect. Think of this as an invitation for a speed date. you can set the time limit, I'll buy the coffee.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working on my life version 2.0. Finished my education, Majored in anthropology with a minor in history. working for a non profit. I have lots of interests and hobbies. Willing to try almost anything at least once. Of course since this is Alaska, fishing is mandatory. I'm more of a meat than a sport fisherman, I'd rather dip net and fill the freezer.
I’m really good at
Jack of all trades, master of none.
The first things people usually notice about me
The first things people usually notice about me is probably my verbosity, combination of nerves at first, I'm out of practice dating so be gentle with the grading.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Now that school and text books are no longer the priority playing catch up with alot of fovorites...HHG, the Harry Potter series, and Pers Anthony, although I did get burned out on the xanth series. Tank Girl, Fifth Element, The Wall, Heavy Metal, Rocky Horror, HHG. Britcoms, Big Bang.
Six things I could never do without
Someone to share my happily ever after with.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The next big adventure...and my happily ever after
On a typical Friday night I am
Whats typical? dinner and or a movie, First Friday, public lecture at UAA
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ask me on our third date
You should message me if
Try this for an ice breaker...You have the opportunity to go to the Airport and ask for the next flight out. The airline flies world wide, so you could end up almost anywhere. Would you play travel roulette? Cost is not an issue, and you don't get to pick, its either yes/no. Where would you hope to get too, where would you not want to go? You____________???
OK a little truth in advertising...this ice breaker question is meant as a bit of a litmus test, to find someone that likes to travel, sometimes with a specific destination sometimes without...Tony's world tour 15/16 was to the 48 the goal as such was to see all the siblings, The only one I missed is the one that lives in the Philippine...AK to CA, ID, WA, GA, AR, AZ AK. World tour 16/17 was to see the brother and family I missed last year...the route, from AK to GA, CA, WA, OR, Japan, Korea, Philippine, RTN, PI, Korea, JP, GUAM, CA, AK all short notice total airfare was $300 for two commercial conections. Most flights were hops, on MAC air, (if you know what hops are and who MAC air is great, if your eligible to fly on MAC air even better, If not ask me I'll be glad to explain). While the adventure alone is worth it, the only thing that would make it better is a travel companion.
