My self-summary
There's something that is conveyed, wordlessly, in these profiles and questions. I'll rely on that and keep doing what I do. Someday, you'll stop by, and you'll just know, and I will too.

I'm lucky to have quite a few friends in creative fields, so am rarely at a loss for something to do or see in town. I usually attend several events per week; plays, performance art pieces, musical performances, art exhibitions, poetry readings, even puppet shows! These tend to be of the avant-garde, indie, local variety.

ENFJ, if that's important to you. It's pretty accurate in describing me, though.

I have insight when dealing with people. Getting out and interacting with other people, finding out about their lives, interests and challenges recharges my batteries. I relish a good or outrageous story and have a few of my own. I love running into friends just about everywhere I go.

I am looking for someone to share cultural/art/music events, urban/rural exploring, dining out or in, road trips, strolling through the farmer's market in the morning, the whole day stretching out before us. Well really someone to have fun with, to share experiences with, someone to talk to over a bottle of wine until the sun rises. Ideally, we'd never run out of things to talk about, never run out of things to do and still could enjoy silence and downtime together too.

I'm interested in a woman with her own interests, who is just as passionate and curious about those things that are important to her, who never wants to stop growing and experiencing new things.

Eventually, I'd like to connect with someone who would want to share a relationship, a life and future with me. I'm not pushing it, not in a rush, but I am a bit of a romantic, I'm looking forward to this.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, like right this minute? Running off to rehearsal for an upcoming Haloween performance.

A couple nights ago? Reading Murakami and hanging out at The Crown.

A few months ago? Starring in a play (improvisational/audience participation/mystery/eastern european village/1800's/circus).

A couple months prior? Writing and reading poetry for an audience.

Soon? Painting. I've waited long enough to get something on canvas.

Principal Financial Analyst for a multi-billion dollar company (in revenue). Making myself indispensable. Building financial models for long-term software projects. Its quiet, focused, meticulous work and I am proud of my successes in my chosen field, but there is so much more to life...

Making connections, expanding my network of friends. I fled the suburbs in search of culture, dining and the arts within walking distance. Getting back to creating my own art, in a variety of disciplines.

Working out, weights, swimming, yeah...necessary.

Oh! And getting into the city paper's 'Best Of' 2011 issue! Look for 'Best Totally Disgusting Thing to Do With Natty Boh'.

I love to wander; to head out in a new direction each day and see what I can find.
I’m really good at
I'm really intuitive, you could call it my spidey sense, I can usually figure out a situation and forecast its outcome accurately. I guess non-linear thinking and pattern recognition also goes with that.

Writing incredibly long profiles!

Being an empath and an amplifier.

Listening and storytelling.

Swimming. Drawing. Writing dialogue (possibly, watch this space). Cooking and entertaining.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically? Skinny legs, broad shoulders, goofy smile.

Interpersonally: intelligence, kindness, sense of humor, a great friend and a lot of fun to hang out with.

Most of all, that I am really living life, taking chances and getting right back up if I stumble.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Do you have a while? I have a ton of books and read constantly. I've exhausted my Netflix queue to the point that I have to give it a rest for a year or two so that the studios can provide more!

I'm into new alternative or indie music, with a bit of classic rock, chillwave, classical and jazz thrown in. I'm an audiophile as well (nerd, ok, hipster nerd... still no? cool dork maybe?).

Food, love it, all kinds and ethnicities and enjoy running out for a quick bite in the neighborhood or heading out on a trip with my foodie friends to a special meal.

You should message me if
You're interested, you're interesting and you can't wait for me to message you first.

Bonus points if you're outgoing, creative and full of energy.

You aren't looking for pen pals and would like to meet in person after a few messages. A few. That's what we're here for, right?
