My self-summary
~ I have a love hate relationship with living in the south. I love the weather, love the ocean, love the idea of manners and social grace... But hate pretty much everything else. I like Soccer (go Liverpool), will cheer on my alma mater for football (only cause it's my school... Otherwise I don't care)

~ Yes, I know I live in brooksville.. yes I know I'm way too cool for this town. Yes I know it's far, but it's not THAT far.. and I'm awesome. I also know that the chances of me meeting someone cool in this town is like 0%... hence me looking in other cities. :)

~ Any guy I am interested in has to be smart... and not just book smart.. someone who is well rounded and knows a lot about, well, a lot. lol

~ I'm a fantastic cook. Nothing fancy.. just plain good food.

~ I am a Whovian (Doctor Who) and am in love with the show. Just add that to my high level of geekiness. You can add Sherlock to that as well.. hell.. basically anything from the BBC.

~ I have a serious love affair with shows on religion and the ancient world... Greek Mythology specifically. The show Clash of the Gods? I could watch it all day.

~ I love HBO's shows. I love smart and funny TV. Have you seen the John Oliver show?? It was flippin' brilliant. Also, I'm still mourning Boardwalk Empire being over. :(

~. I am a big geek. I am currently teaching myself/learning about comics/marvel/DC characters. I also subscribe to Loot Crate. See.... Geek.

~ I am pretty up to date on all things political.. I am a VERY proud member, actually the 1st Vice President of the teacher's union. I am a national rep for the AFT as part of a young worker's council with the AFL-CIO as well. So... If you don't support unions... Move on.

~ I appear to be sunshine and rainbows and the very typical girl next door, but don't let it fool you.. I have stories that make grown men blush.

~ If I'm at home, I wear pjs pants and a tank top.. real clothes are for work...

~ I read.. a LOT. I have NEVER read a Nicholas Sparks book (too girls and cheesy). IF there isn't a vampire or some other mythological or magic character, I probably won't be interested.. I love Anne Rice, and Harry Potter and I've even read all the True Blood books.. I'm a nerd.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently a teacher (actual title is Instructional Practices Coach.. meaning I give trainings to teachers instead of kids now)
I should be a shrink.
I want to be a sexologist or a baker... either way.. I'd be helping people deal with issues.. through advice or chocolate ;)
I’m really good at
cooking, listening, giving advice, making people laugh (seriously, I'm a funny bitch)

What I'm NOT good at: playing games, being non-emotional and putting up with bullshit
The first things people usually notice about me
That everyone around me is usually laughing... and that if there are a mixed group of ppl.. I'm the token girl standing and talking to all the guys. (actually it's my boobs, but the above mentioned is what I would hope they would notice).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books of all time are: The Giving Tree and Memnoch the Devil (along with anything by Roald Dahl and Anne Rice). I am a total geek when it comes to Harry Potter and the Percy Jackson series.
My favorite movies: Moulin Rouge, Neverending Story, Secretary and Ponette. I love documentaries as well.... especially ones about Religion and ancient history.

TV: Doctor Who, Sherlock, American Horror Story, Hell on Wheels, Copper, True Blood, Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Big Bang Theory, and anything on the History Channel and Nat Geo channel or BBC.

Music: Joshua Radin, Josh Groban, Fiona Apple, George Michael, cheesy 90's pop, The Smiths, older Depeche Mode... anything that has good lyrics I'm a fan of...And 90's gangster rap. Seriously. I fucking love me some Snoop and Biggie.

Food: I love to cook and love to try out new things. I make a mean empanada and some really yummy coconut macaroons!! ;) I have taught myself how to cook/bake.. people always ask what my secret to good food is... honestly... I follow the recipe.. I'm like obsessive about it.. I've made chocolate chip cookies a million times.. I still read the recipe every single time. It's my random OCD moment. I'm a great cook though.. nothing fancy, just good food.
Six things I could never do without
1. My dog. She rules.
2. My family (duh)
3. Music
4. Coke Zero... its my vice
5. New Orleans. It's my soul city.. (and no.. not for mardi gras)
6. books. Seriously.. I can't imagine not having a stack of books to read.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
work. I have a business idea, but can't decide if I'm ready to leave the classroom yet. I love teaching.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing after a long week. Most of my friends are married or have kids, so I don't go out like I used to! :(
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've read the Twilight books.....
You should message me if
You are a bit of a geek, good at trivia, will humor me when I sing to my dog, watch documentaries with me, bring me a coke zero when I'm tired, accept that I'm a balls to the wall kind of girl who accepts nothing but 100%... And want nothing but 100% yourself.

Do NOT Mesage me if you are a "bro"... If you don't support LGBTQ rights... If you cry about being a "nice guy" (I can't deal with victim mentality).... Or if you can't laugh at yourself.
