My self-summary
I'm a farmer and an artist, I love getting my hands dirty and jumping into anything interesting. I have been told that I have an 8,000 year old soul but I spent most of that time locked in a cave in the orient developing my "interior world". I'm a green leftist commie pinko and I'm pretty spastic but laid back. I'm a peaceful person but I love to get all riled up and angry at things like politics and philosophy. I love to debate but I hate to argue. I love playing sports but I hate watching them. I love to travel but I hate tourists. I love watching television but I hate almost everything on television. I want to find out all about the mysteries and enigmas but I'm usually disappointed when I figure them out. I love Love and I love Hate. I worship death and confusion and chaos and life and love and kittens and lemonade. I worship simplicity, and order, and rhythms and structure, and truth and loyalty. I love the idea of non-violent weapons. I love drinking but I hate being to drunk, I love eating but I hate being too full. I walk the line and worship the moon because it puts the sun in perspective and lets the world hide its sharp edges. I walk the line and worship the sun because it's violent fire keeps the world alive and shows all the terrible beauty in the world in it's completeness. By dancing through life I try to keep seeing the wholeness that can only be seen from many different perspectives.
I guess I'm a student and a teacher of hypocrisy (the GOOD kind).

I am a liberal communist pinko green hypocritewho loves making a difference and laughing at those who are trying to.

I am laid back, comfortable, and political.
What I’m doing with my life
I was helping my parents to run their large produce farm and develop a line of (hopefully organic) foods so we can all retire but recently I decided to leave the nest and take a golden opportunity with some good friends who have a museum installation service where I will be learning to mount historic artifacts and documents. Right now I'm working between the B.B. King Museum in Indianola MS and the Infantry Museum in Columbus GA for the next few months. I make and sell a lot of art on the side and I'm trying to travel a bit to decide where to move and start my own gallery / cafe'/ farm somewhere.

update: after 5 years and 6 or 7 museums I have hung up my mount making ear plugs for a bit and I'm now working out of my house, finishing the series of prints, paintings, short stories and novellas I've been planning for the last 3 years. Also redoing the paint and floors in my house, and helping my grandmother out (shes recently a widow after 52 years). I will be semi-stable for a while, except for some traveling.

current update, sept. 2011
I am now attending the Corcoran college of art and design in D.C. to get a masters in exhibition design. My museum experience should serve me well, I am helping to hang the student artwork as a fellow and plan to intern around town and study abroad next summer. I will be spending most of my time in D.C. for a while, local folks hit me up...

current update 8/11/2012
taking a hiatus from grad school and am living in Martinsburg, WV, working on some new artwork.
I’m really good at
cooking, painting, conversation, arguing, debate, making people feel comfortable and laugh. I can also cut a mean rug on occasion and I can sing a bit when I've had some tequila. I alos write pretty well (i've been told anyway)(but I'm slightly dyslexic and can't spell or type worth a shit, thats why they have editors you know, no i'm not sensitve about it i'm just saying), and I give an excellent foot massage.
The first things people usually notice about me
the smart ass expression on my face, my wry smile, and my hoarse peal of laughter. Then they are amazed at how wide my shoulders are...really...for sure.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like to read lots of books by , Tom Robbins, Hunter S. Thompson, Khalil Gibran, Rimbaud, Neal Stephenson, Jeanet Winterson, too many to list.... Hmmm sushi, anything fresh organic and homemade, tapas, Indian food if it's made right, Ethiopian, and ya gotta love really spicy mexifusion! and many others. I love blues and punk rock, but i listen to anything, preferably live. Been listening to a lot of indie punk stuff lately, the hip shakes, the shins, king khan and the shrines, RTX, ect. while checking out some roots and world music like Hugh Mesakeyla. some of my favorite flicks are the forbidden zone, pi, dreams by Akira Kurosawa, and where the buffalo roam. I love watching the speeches and performances on when i have a little free time. Creative Chaos for the Common Good rocks.
Six things I could never do without
air not the band,
water preferably not city water,
food homegrown if possible,
shelter no RENT! gotta own my own,
friends that are sometimes sober enough to hold a conversation,
and of course American spirit smokes!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Building huge concert halls, planting large gardens on hillsides, great paintings that most people wouldn't get or would hate, how in the world did GW actually get elected?, how can we save the universe before the conservatives kill it, How can you make a really good seven layer dip, why is whitey so gullible and stupid, how soon can I afford to move to Europe/ the islands/ Mexico/ Canada. Why do we still allow personal vehicles, how can I buy a new truck with my meager savings, why am i such a hypocrite, why is it so damn fun to be a hypocrite, what is that dudes name who did that one painting, come on..dammit I had a class in this!
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with some friends while cooking and sipping cocktails, rarely going out to see a concert, chilling on the couch with a good book an Irish coffee and my cat, or in the studio painting madly with crazy music blaring.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
ask me anything, I might not tell you to fuck off...
You should message me if
You are sure you can hold up through some crazy shit with your sense of humor intact and you have a good appreciation of irony and hypocrisy, and If you like to travel, raise hell, and plan on spending lots of time screaming over loud obnoxious music about politics, music, and art through a haze of tequila and organic cigarette smoke...
