My self-summary
Hi, my name is Abby. I'm a chef in the Rittenhouse area of Philadelphia. I absolutely love my job, and even though it's not the most financially rewarding, I can't imagine myself doing anything else. I'd describe myself as very driven and ambitious in my work life. I take my career very seriously. Outside of work, I'm entirely different; calm, laid-back, fun, spontaneous. When I'm not working, I love spending time outdoors, weather permitting, going hiking, swimming, grilling, going to a bonfire, biking. If I decide to stay in, I'm just as happy curling up in a blanket and watching a good movie or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen. I also love spending time in the city trying new bars and restaurants. I have an adventurous personality and am open to trying most things.
What I’m doing with my life
After graduating from high school, I attended Syracuse University's School of Architecture. I had convinced myself from the time I was 13 that I would be an architect, and didn't know what to do when I realized I absolutely hated it. I left school my sophomore year and took a year off to figure out what it was that I really wanted to do.

I came to the conclusion that I loved to cook, and loved it enough that I could see myself doing it all day every day. I picked up a job as a line cook at a local restaurant, and after I had a year of experience, I decided to go to culinary school in Philadelphia. I've been working in restaurants around the city ever since and couldn't be happier with my career change.

I've held a sous chef position at a pub in center city and am currently a pastry chef at a restaurant in Rittenhouse. Some day, after I've had a little more experience, I'm going to open my own restaurant.
I’m really good at
I like to think I'm an excellent cook. I also draw extremely well, which is why I attempted a career in architecture before becoming a chef.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about my life, where it's going, and what I want out of it. I try to think about how my future will be, who will be in it, and what I'll be doing. It's fun to think about, and a little scary at the same time, but doing it helps me set goals and push myself.

You should message me if
Message me if you're a good guy who is looking for a real relationship. I'm completely uninterested in casual dating and hooking up. I'd really love to meet someone I click with and want to give my time and attention to. I don't have a type, although I do prefer dating men who are at least my height if not taller.
