I came to the conclusion that I loved to cook, and loved it enough that I could see myself doing it all day every day. I picked up a job as a line cook at a local restaurant, and after I had a year of experience, I decided to go to culinary school in Philadelphia. I've been working in restaurants around the city ever since and couldn't be happier with my career change.
I've held a sous chef position at a pub in center city and am currently a pastry chef at a restaurant in Rittenhouse. Some day, after I've had a little more experience, I'm going to open my own restaurant.
