If there's a simple way to sum it all up, it's that I want the revolution of normalcy. I want a partner in life, I want children to love and guide, I want a career that makes me feel like I'm contributing in an inimitable way, I want a home that feels like a foundation, and to never go a day without some form of love in my heart.
That covers the professional stuff. Personally I'm doing everything I can to be the best me I can be. I've spent a lot of time in the last year figuring out myself (go therapy go), figuring out all that goes on inside me, loving who I am as I am, identifying what I want, and understanding what it's going to take to get there, all while appreciating where I am and knowing that no matter where I want to be, right here and right now is all I have and that I need to love that above all else.
Books: Everything Christopher Rice has written, everything Mark Twain has written, Adobe Creative Suite manuals, "The Kid" by Dan Savage, everything Davis Sedaris, and Nutrition Information. I just got a Kindle, so I'm reawakening my love of reading.
Movies: I coudn't possibly list them all. Airplane, The Birdcage, Troop Beverly Hills, Showgirls, Scream, A Nightmare on Elm Street (original and remake), The Long Kiss Goodnight, Die Hard, Transformers: The Movie, Terminator 2, Easy A, A League of Their Own, Cars, How To Train Your Dragon, Erin Brockovich, Jurassic Park, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Death Becomes Her... it just keeps going. I'm also obsessed with RiffTrax, so anything they've made fun of works just fine for me.
TV Shows: Nashville, Better Off Ted, X-Files, Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Music: There. Is. No. Way. But my favorite group of all time is Everything But The Girl. Beyond that my favorite genres are EDM, Hip Hop/Soul and Country. Disparate, right?
Food: Sushi, Bossa Nova, Z Pizza, cheese (despite my lactardation), dark chocolate.
