As far as personality goes, I'm pretty easygoing, and pretty talkative with people I feel comfortable around. I place a high value on trust and being kind/considerate. Not necessarily in the "save the world" kind of way, but more in the "live each day as best you can" kind of way. I tend to be fairly honest myself (I hope), though ironically you only have my word for that right now. This doesn't mean I'm blunt though. I will try to tell you honest things in as nice and friendly a way as possible. How you say something really does make a difference.
People say I'm a great guy, but you can find out for yourself =). I like to think that I'm the classic "nice guy".. but perhaps I shouldn't admit that since a lot of girls may find that boring! But yes - that's as close as I'll ever get to saying something egotistical.
However, since work will never never beat play (unless I'm an ice cream taste-tester), I try to have a lot of other interests, whether it be trying a new restaurant/coffee shop, thumbing through a book of classic art, or baking.
The baking thing I only started recently, and it's part of my idealistic hope that I can become a pastry chef later in life. I figure I need the 20 years of experience =). That is one non-negotiable thing with me -- life is too short for bad dessert!
And I try to always be considerate to wait staff. They have a hard job!
"The Great Gatsby". Definitely - my favorite novel. I've been reading classics recently because I figure.. they're classics for a reason and must be good. I've also been told I'm one of the rare guys who has read (and enjoys) Jane Austen's novels.
I'm flexible here. I have a nostalgic love for classic Disney movies. Anything that's based on a true story, or a good book, or has some sort of inspiring tale will likely draw me in.
Pretty flexible here as well. I'll be OK with most things, as long as it has a good tune.
Gotta love food! I like lots of different foods, but sometimes I do feel like sticking with "safe" dishes I know are good. I'm not a fan of spicy dishes, just because I never ate them (but of course, I don't mind if you do!)
2.) Sunshine (it's a native Californian thing).
3.) Interesting people/thoughts
4.) Witty conversation
5.) Anything else that makes life worth living =)
I can also think about random things, like why I prefer broccoli over cauliflower (my conclusion: I think the white color of cauliflower just puts me off.. veggies aren't supposed to be white! They're supposed to be a nice leafy green).
(I apologize if you loved cauliflower and that comment just ruined it for you.)
