My self-summary
I'm not that great at talking about myself, others are bound to have their own opinion anyway. I've been told I'm intelligent often enough that I'm inclined o believe it.

I have a very broad and open sense of humor. I find humor in a great many things others don't. I do make reasonable attempts not to offend, but it's not always on the forefront of my thoughts.

I like learning new things, though only in things that perk my interest. I think this can be said for a great number of people.

I consider my religious stance agnostic as I refuse to assert either way due to lack of evidence. However, strictly speaking, you would not be unjustified in calling me an atheist. The best part about my particular stance is that I am always the devil's advocate. An irony that amuses me to no end.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently working as a maintenance technician. I recently found an online degree that appeals to me, and am considering it at the moment.
I’m really good at
...laughing, at pretty much everything. I consider myself pretty laid back and try to find levity in any situation. This usually earns me some interesting looks, which makes me laugh even more.

I love to tease, and I certainly don't mind you returning the favor. I even bash myself. I'm incredibly thick-skinned and it's rare for anyone to do more than annoy me. It's probably due to this that I seem to be on amicable terms with almost anyone I meet.

Oh yeah, pretty good at procrastination too. Fortunately, I have a book that suppose to help. Unfortunately, I never got around to reading it.
The first things people usually notice about me
Another good question. On a physical level, I'm slightly below the average height for males. I am finding myself a bit wryly amused that many women here are taller than me.

On a personal level, I have a somewhat unorthodox personality. Though many seem to see this positively, and the rest don't seem to know what to do with me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like science fiction/fantasy novels. The Wheel of Time series, the Last Dragonlord series, and the Iron Druid Chronicles (Atticus is my hero) are some of my favorites, just to name a few. I'm also into manga.

I like mostly comedy or fantasy movies, though I tend to watch a broad range of genres. I used to be more into horror, but it doesn't seem to do much for me anymore. Princess Bride, Underworld, and What Women Want were some good ones.

As far as shows, I mostly watch via internet so I'm not really knowledgeable of mainstream television. I tend to be far more inclined to read a book, play a game, or watch a movie. I'm open to any suggestions though.

I'll listen to pretty much anything, music-wise, especially rock.
As far as food, I tend to eat spicy things quite a bit. I tend to be a fan of pasta as well.
Six things I could never do without
So many things to choose from. Let's say:
Video games
Cell phone
Family/friends (Oh yes, I cheated)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I am prone to introspection and self-evaluation. I also tend to ponder a number of topics. I do this with any topic that catches my interest at the time. I do this to try to further my understanding of the topic, based on what I know. I often find myself looking things up in order to eliminate inconsistencies in my knowledge.
On a typical Friday night I am
On my way to work. Yay me!
You should message me if
If you think we could hit it off, platonic or otherwise. I tend to get along with damn near anyone and enjoy good conversation.

If you think we could have a good relationship, I very much encourage messaging.

I'm not the sort to ignore an honest inquiry, though I may not necessarily be prompt. I will do my best to get back to you. If you want to know something, please, ask. I'm not the most forthcoming but I'm willing to share.
