My self-summary
If we wait for the moment when everything, absolutely everything is ready, we shall never begin because we will be waiting forever.

Such true words. I stole this saying from someone else on this site. I could never come up with something as clever as the above.

I've spent some time on this site and read a bunch of stuff. I am unique, as any of the guys (or girls here). I am very good at giving and receiving. I am attentive, a very good friend and listener. I think of myself to be quite reserved and private person. But coming here proved me wrong. Most of all, I'd like to think that I am open to new experiences (within boundaries of normal behaviour and interactions). I'm not bored with long chats, and not boring I guess (reciprocally), I love intelligent people and conversation.

I am loyal, bright, and kind, what else can I say. I really don't like to talk about myself. I'm very humble in that sence. I can be a snob when I know I'm right about something. But will publicly admit it when I'm wrong! I'm not a party type of guy. I like to go out to nice quiet places; not sports bars and that type of stuff.
What I’m doing with my life
Taking care of my mother ( who had a very bad stroke a year and a half ago!) Work, rest, travel (when I can), enjoy friends and family, read, watch some of my home made videos or shows I've recorded, and other endevers.
I’m really good at
Dealing with people, I have to in my job; thinking logical, trying to watch my health, expressing my self and letting my feelings be known, I'm not a push-over and do stand my ground; Airport/airline operations; traffic (highway) engineering; I am very audacious!, I do push the envelope from time to time; and who knows what else. If you even become just a friend of mine on here, you have a friend for life, unless you screw me, and I don't mean sexually. I don't care if you live in Cheltenham England, UK, or Cheltenham Pennsylvania, USA, that's where I live, as James Tayler once sang in 1971, You got a friend!
The first things people usually notice about me
I go out of my way to help people, and feel guilty if I don't think I did my best. Go that extra mile (or kilometer for my Canadian friends.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like history books (especially books on Nazi Germany, those who forget history are condemned to re-live it!) And "Fact" and technical books. I like movies that make you think, but have a sense of humour at the same time. I also like Cold War Spy mini series and movies. One of the only television shows I enjoy watching is the original Law and Order. How NBC could take that show off the air is still baffling me. Also I loved MST3K, and I have many copies of the show. I'm mostly into oldies, i.e. top 40's of the 1960's through 1980's-I can't believe the 70's and 80's are now considered old. The 80’s and some of the 90’s weren’t a decade, but a party. But I can listen to contemporary if I like the song or artist. Plus some Classic Rock and Classic Country, I love the Moody Blues, Jethroe Tull, and ELO among others. I also love top 40 Canadian Oldies from the 70's through the 80's; not the few songs that were exported to the U.S. but the real stuff that never made it to America like April Wine, Luba, Ken Tobias, Tom Middleton, Seth Jordon, and Chilliwack just to name a few. The only Noise I will not listen to is that Hip-Hop/Rap crap, Grunge and similar nonsense that is worthy of the cutting room floor.
Six things I could never do without
Canada, even though I hate crossing the border in either direction; family/home and good friends old and new; better health; the Constitution and first thru 10th amendment rights.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The joke they call "airport security;" I hate the TSA immensely! (Yes, I said it and meant it. And I don't hate hardly anything) Ending "ticketed passengers only" at security checkpoints! This is one position I will never deviate on or change my feelings about. And yes, I am very vocal about this whole TSA non-sense.

Bettering myself. Not getting sick, and not letting so many things and stupid stuff bother me. Most of all not letting people hurt me, been there, done that too many times.
On a typical Friday night I am
All depends, every week is different.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Well now, on the most private thing I'm NOT willing to admit, that's, well, private, huh ...but feel free to ask :) But I might only answer when and if I feel you are seriously interested in me and want to peruse a relationship ; after all, it is private, right? One private issue deals with health, NOT AIDS or anything contagious in nature, but rather a chronic problem, not acute .

Below, in the "I'm looking for" section I had to check off "near me", but I also want to include "Anywhere" within reason. Trenton, NJ, yes; Newark, NJ, no. They should allow this option, or a mile distance type option, but don't
You should message me if
you want to meet a truly honest and sincere guy. Write me, PLEASE, I will answer you!
