My self-summary
I'm a fourth generation descendant of the founder of brewery stepping out on his wife with a vaudeville dancer.
What I’m doing with my life
Recently got my master's in expressive arts therapy but hated my first post-master's job so I'm bartending and walking dogs now because life is too short to work jobs you hate.

Also, hanging with my dog, making art, riding my bike, cooking, playing music, watching music, running, knitting, gardening, playing softball, reading books at bars and having lots of hobbies. Living a much more low key life than in my younger years and learning to embrace it.
I’m really good at
"Gettin Jiggy Wit It" by Will Smith.

Seriously. I know all the words.

Also, cleaning. I'm a very tidy person.
The first things people usually notice about me
Tattoos and wild hair color and that I talk kind of a lot? Probably? Although, more recently people tend to notice my canine sidekick first. Not sure if that counts.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Mostly nonfiction and/or comedy or a combination of the two. Recent/current reads: Bad Feminist, Look Me In The Eye, Bossypants, Hollywood Said No, Crazy Like Us, The Disaster Artist, Bourbon Empire, A Brief History of Time.

Documentaries and weirdo comedy mostly but occasionally horror and sci-fi. A selection of recently viewed favorites: Sherman's March, Birdman, The Cruise, Santa Sangre. All time favorites are numerous. We can discuss those another time.

Kids in the Hall, Broad City, Flight of the Conchords, Tim and Eric, Cosmos (both versions), Law and Order: SVU.

Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, Talking Heads, Tammi Terrell, XTC, Mac Demarco, Sleater-Kinney, Velvet Underground, Belle and Sebastian, Ja Rule. "A sly declaration of new classic status slipped into a bunch of old safe ones."

Is this a good time to mention I love NPR?

For food, I'm just getting into... Burgers! No seriously. I hated them as a kid and recently met one I didn't hate. Let's go out for burgers.
The six things I could never do without
my pup
I spend a lot of time thinking about
... whatever weird documentary I just watched.
On a typical Friday night I am
...probably drawing pictures? Or working? Sometimes Monday is my Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I just don't care about professional sports. Or Family Guy. So please never try to talk to me about those things.

I'm probably a little too straightforward for my own good.

You should message me if're down with feminism.'re down with dogs.'re a babe.
