My self-summary
Oh gosh, I used to have one of those long self explanatory texts where you try to promote yourself while trying to avoid going overboard.
This time around I'll try yo break it down and keep it more manageable.
I'm a geek, a nerd, a hands on kind of guy who's done a little bit of everything.
To avoid this tuning into an essay I'll just list a bunch of random interests of mine.
Math, electronics, cars and stuff that makes 'em go faster, computers, board games, roleplaying games, weight training, martial arts, movies, music, books, hanging with friends and so on.

I'm a warm and cuddly person and often see the company as more important that the actual activity.
I don't do the singles bar thing...
Staying in with the right company is a perfectly good way of spending quality time.
What I’m doing with my life
At times I can ask myself that exact question, what am I doing with my life?
The answer is probably a little bit of everything and nothing in particular.
If you're looking for that career driven type of guy I'm not him.
Instead I try to focus on what makes life worth living.
I.e. you work to live, not the other way around.
I’m really good at
I guess this is where the “jack of all trades” will show?
In the interest of keeping things short and crisp I'll rather comment on my personality in the first place.
When I find something interesting I tend to focus on this and in the end I usually turn out pretty good at what I'm doing.
The short list... Electronics, math, sex, games, listening, training, and participating in a discussion to name a few.
The first things people usually notice about me
First look: Dark clothing and Wider across my shoulders than average.
First contact: Gee he’s a nerd or possibly my frankness and that I’m very open and outspoken.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Whoa, this is going to be a long one...

Let's do the authors first, William Shakespeare, Raymond E. Feist, Robin Hobb, Ann Rice, Robert Jordan, William Gibson, Arthur C. Clark, Robert A. Heinlein, Terry Pratchet, Douglas Adams and Tom Clancy.

Ok, now for a few select books... Magician, The Hitchhikers's Guide to the Galaxy, Neuromancer, A Chrismas Carrol and the Farseer triology. It's mainly Fantasy and Sci-Fi.

As for the movies, it’s hard to keep the list manageble. Bladrunner, Highlander (there can be only one, movie that is. I’m living in denial concerning later productions.) Seven, Hard Candy, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and... let’s just stop here. I like Sci-fi and fantasy here as well but a good thriller is really hard to beat. The list really could go on forever, I like movies.

Favorite TV shows then?
Most things Star Trek, the same goes for Stargate, Two and a Half Men, Fringe, The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, Family Guy, Married With Children, Criminal Minds, Bones, CSI, The Walking Dead, Revenge, Homeland, Coupling, Falling Skies, Grimm, True Blood to name a few.

Ok, let’s talk music. This is the area where I should shine. Funny thing is though, a lot of the time I don’t remember names or stuff about artists, I just enjoy the music.
Some favorites are Leonard Cohen, Ron Sexsmith, Ben Harper, VNV Nation ,The Bates, Metallica, Kraftwerk, Sven Väth, Big Fat Snake, Mike Oldfield, Frontline Assembly, Front 242, Rammstein, Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Corrs, Aqua, and... I could keep doing this for quite a while. Let’s just say I enjoy music in general and I have a broad taste.
So far it was all modern music but I enjoy classical as well. You already know the classical composers so I hope I don’t have to list them?

Food, I couldn’t live without food. It’s so addictive, kind of like air, I just gotta have it.
When we’re talking favorites it’s fairly straight forward. You can’t go wrong with a good steak, it’s like forplay. But hey you can’t go around eating steak every day and I enjoy simple traditional cooking as well. Last but not least, let’s not forget the fast food. A Pizza or a burger can be just perfect some days. Coming home five o clock in the morning from a party there’s nothing in the world that can beat a good burger.

This last year I've been trying to replace a lot of the high carb foods with veggies and it's working pretty ok so far.
Six things I could never do without
Friends, Love, Sex, Music, Books, Good discussions
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Oh, don’t get me started on this one. I’m always thinking about different things. It can be just about anything really. If I would have to pick a few topics though it would then be Electronics, Audio, Sex and various computer related topics.
There are lot’s of interesting stuff out there but it doesn’t occupy my mind in the same way.
On a typical Friday night I am
A Friday night? Well... I can be out with friends, at a party, cuddling with a beloved (I really miss this...), reading a book, sitting by the computer, camped by the TV or quite possibly working on some project related problem that came up earlier in the day? I suppose there isn’t such a thing as a typical Friday night for me?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I own a 564 page edition of the Kama Sutra and not one illustration in the entire book.
You should message me if
I’m a flexible person, anyone can message me. If you find anything at all interesting in my profile I’m sure we can find something to talk about. You can never have to many friends. :)

About the dating thing... I guess openmindedness is a good thing.
If you can challenge me mentally that's a precious gift.
I like intimacy both mental and physical, hopefully you do to.

I would love to find that special girl who makes my life complete but in the spirit of keeping things simple and keeping the pressure off, I'll settle for a date and a good time. Shit will happen and you never know... ;)
